What makes a great band is not when they played a cover song so similar as the original.. But when they were able to take the soul of that song and mixed it up with the core of their own identity to make it as their own! And this one, is one hell of a cover!!
He mentioned the American tour in the intro. I saw them in Detroit during that tour! Yukke also came out during Atreyu's set and played with them, which was awesome!
Every time they showed shots of the crowd I wanted to cry. There were just SO MANY people there. I hadn't seen any of the hide Memorial Summit until now. Just goes to show how much he meant to his fans and how respected he is
This is fantastic to see so many people living in hide's spirit. this has nothing to do with performance, but love. This is amazing and beyond touching.
I'd love to see someone do a cover of "Tell Me", not sure if Mucc would do it well, it's a fairly light hearted song. But then, I love Mucc regardless. SOMEONE needs to cover Tell me!
To be honest, I think Mucc did awesomely well on this one, it's difficult for one to put their characteristics in someone else's song. When I first heard this, the first thing came to my mind was that they really knows how to choose songs to cover, it really suite their style. Remind me of Dejavu cover they did for "LUNA SEA MEMORIAL COVER ALBUM-Re:birth-" I think they had a clever idea for that harmonizing section, and it does work, just that some notes wasn't harmonized properly AWESOME COVER
@LayneSykora Yes, 'cause they needed support to play hide's song as Tatsuro explained. But they're not part of MUCC, they did only support them on that day.
wow, this is finally up- I was closest to this part and as much as I've seen Mucc do better- they did one of my favorite tracks and totally rocked the casba!
In my opinion mucc did a good job. They did the best dice cover so far. Out of manterou opera and screw's dice cover. I love manterou opera and screw but they didn't do a good job.

Amazing cover. The solo itself is successful, there are no false notes. Stop saying that Miya was not good in the finger's movement, it's not true ... go listen Kyutai of Shion and see. It's just that the tone of both guitars doesn't corresponds so it sounds wrong, but it is successful. (srry for my English)
@bennyhideto0502 they did it to celebrate Hide, don't dirty up a beautiful cover with your own rubbish, tis you that is the rubbish, not the cover. They did fantastic.
To kuroda, it´s pretty obvious that Miya fucked up the solo in the harmonizing part. Mistakes do happen, even to professionals like him. See Kaoru at the Wacken festival 2011, he fucked the Different Sense solo up the ass. Not to say that Miya is a bad guitarist i think he is pretty good actually, his chord work is amazing sometimes.Just his solo work isn´t my thing, but hey taste differs.
This song was just MADE for MUCC. No offence intended but on the heavier songs I.N.A. wasn't the best producer. And while I liked the hide version, MUCC made it their own, WHILE keeping to the main parts of the song. No-one complained about Shame's cover of LEMONed and that was NOTHING like the original.
