In this video, we show you how to get around downtown Rio by using some of the public transit options that are available, affordable and very convenient. We visited a museum called the museum of the republic or Museu da República (or Palácio do Catete). This building and all its rooms, halls, staircases, etc. are is absolutely stunning! So far in Brazil, we think this is the most beautiful structure we have visited. Then we show you another area a bit outside of Rio called Grumari which is full of great beaches and the scenery and the restaurants in this region are also breathtaking! Our next stop was at a trendy neighbourhood called Lagoa which has a large lake surrounded by buildings, parks, exclusive clubs, and much more. This neighbourhood was very relaxed and a perfect spot to spend an afternoon or evening just strolling around yet another perfect place in Rio de Janeiro. We hope you enjoy the video :)

Amazing! All around Lagoa you have great parks, the best area is called Cantagalo Park - next to Ipabnema and Copa districits - with lots of trendy restaurants and cafes by the lake, and a big green area

If you are in São Paulo, please visit Independence Park, where you will find the mausoleum of D. Pedro I, one of the largest monuments in Brazil. It was built on the banks of the Ipiranga River, exactly where D. Pedro gave the cry of Ipiranga, announcing Brazil's independence. There is also the Imperial Palace, which was the official residence of the emperors of Brazil.

@@global_citizens If you're still in Rio, I recommend returning on a Sunday for the market in the neighbouring Gloria. I tend to start there, swing by Catete Palace gardens to Flamengo beach and then via Largo do Machado to Largo Sao Francisco. Typically all above full of action of various types.

You got the wrong card. That "Jaé" card is new and it only works on transports administered by the city of Rio. The one that works on all means is the RioCard.

I mean, Florianópolis is definitely richer, safer and more beautiful than Rio. There are no slums there, everywhere you go is very nice, safe and urbanized and the beauty of nature is just the same of Rio.

Rio has only 10% of slum abd also Rio is safe in tourist áreas, South Zone if you the data you will see before to make assumptions, probably is safer Florianópolis but not more Beautiful than Rio and is much smaller too Here is urbanized too who saud you that is not The problem is y'all only to pretebd to know the information of Rio and bevause is the most famous City when samethibg happens it is all focus here much more than any place in Brazil Brazilians love bsh Rio even though they really don't know anything about him and also the reality!!
