Getting diagnosed with a cancer that is so rare that most doctors don’t know what you’re talking about is actually more common than I thought. As a newly diagnosed patient in my mid 30s in 2018, there were no resources or a plethora of positive guidance that could affirm that things were going to be OK. I told myself that if I survive this clean and clear and came on the other side that I would do what I could to give back and help become part of the solution to what the questions are still being asked like what causes this and how do we fight it. I’m dedicating my life to trying to find those answers and will do whatever I have to to complete my mission.
