Your videos have been very informative. I think women (my mom friends) somewhat unintentionally gatekeep a lot of information because it’s gross to talk about but I like hearing it from a non biased side. At first I’m like EW WTF but then I’m like wow moms are doing this everyday.

When i was pregnant with my first i got it out in one piece. It was on the paper after i wiped my self after peeing. With two of my other kids it came in portions😆 and with my other three it came during early labor at the hospital

I lost mine the morning my water broke with both my boys. With my daughter it came out 3 days before I went into labor. Water did not break on its own with her but was my fastest labor. Having babies is weird and always so different! Lol

I had a prime come in one time with her mucous plug in a ziploc. She was so excited ...."I lost my mucous plug, so it's time!!" I said " No, its not, so lets go put it back in;-)

I lost part of mine are 32 weeks and ended up in hospital every week with one thing happening after another, in the end my baby came at 36 weeks and 4 days.

I was 37 weeks and water broke and nurses didn’t believe me. I asked them if they would like to come back to my house and take a look at my bathroom floor 😂

Most of the time here in lakeland the drs don’t actually believe it. I’ve had six kids and i know what a mucus plug looks like, but every single time they’re like “are you suuuuure bout that “

Mine confirmed to me that I had not peed my pants when my water broke. My son sat on my bladder the entire pregnancy so I thought I had peed so went to bathroom to clean up, wiped and there it was. And I continued to leak. Waddled on into the ED with a towel between my legs 🤣🤣🤣

I want to lose my mucous plug, water to break like in the movies, and to have the fetal ejection reflex. Ah, yes, perfect labor and delivery.

Okay so I was 3 days overdue. Now the day before I went into labor I went to the emergency room bc I felt so much pain. They said I was effaced b it not dilated sent me home at midnight. Now I woke up 7am from cramping alllll night called my nurse she said it was Braxton hicks I said no ma’am I really think it’s time. I went anyway back to the emergency room. 2 hours later finally got in the bed to be checked the nurse enters me and BAM water breaks all over bed in emergency room w mucus plug. They say,”oh it seems like you’re in labor right now. Let’s go get you a room.” If I would have waited I would have had my baby in my bedroom. 😂

Wow! Where do you find a nurse or a doctor who believes you? Especially if you're pregnant 🥺

I didn't lose my mucus plug no one not even my Dr told me anything about a mucus plug. I went to my Dr appointment told them I was feeling a lot of pressure and back pain and he said we will check u next week it's to early for u to start getting checked right now like he never heard of women going into early labor but I trusted him and went to my sister for a couple of hours went home took a bath laid down and my water broke so 5 maybe 6 hours after leaving my Dr witch was upstairs from where labor and delivery was I was right back checking in to have my daughter. I left my Dr appointment around 2pm and I got to labor and delivery around 9 and she was born around 10 so about 8 hours after I saw my Dr my daughter was born and the Dr that was on call tried to accuse my husband of abusing me and sending me into labor and drinking and driving because he had 2 maybe 3 beer's b4 we laid down and ge was rude and mean and rough with me and hurt me during the exam all because he assumed my husband was a abusive drunk and I made it very clear he has never laid a hand on me and just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean he can't have a couple of beer's and his mom drove us to the hospital so he could focus on making sure I was doing OK and comforting me and after the Dr was done with the exam my husband wanted another Dr because he didn't like that he was rude and rough with me and hurt me during the exam then tried to say I wasn't in labor and my water didn't brake because I wasn't bleeding and the nurse stepped in and said her water did brake I already tested it and the test turned pink and not all women start bleeding a lot right away and as he looked back down he said well there's 1 blood clot and when he did the ultrasound to make sure my daughter was head down he was pushing the ultrasound thing into my stomach hard and he said she's head up we need to do a c-section now and all I said was my Dr said she was head down a few hours ago and he got smart with me and said well he was wrong and if u look at the screen u would see her head is up and the nurse was getting mad at him and said told me sometimes they can flip or if the baby is a smaller baby the head and butt can feel the same and then the Dr tried to make my husband miss the birth because he asked if he had time to go outside and smoke a cigarette to calm down and the Dr said yea it will be about 10 or 15 minutes and as soon as he saw him walk out he said OK take her to the OR now and luckily my husband took 2 or 3 puffs and was like I really need to be with her right now and came in maybe 2 minutes later and my mom said they took her right after u walked out so he went running and he got in the room right b4 they started and he complained on the Dr the next morning he said he was very rude and rough with my wife all because I had 2 beer's b4 laying down and tried to accuse me of causing her to go into labor he said I could understand if I came in drunk and being a asshole but I was far from drunk and I was being as nice as I could be yea I was freaking out because our daughter wasn't due for 4 more weeks but he didn't have to be rude and rough with my wife and get smart with her because I had a couple of beer's for the first time in months and the nurses told him we wasn't the only 1s who had a problem with him so did a few other nurses and he was in a bad mood because it was his night on call and it was a busy 1 but that didn't give him the right to have a attitude with people and from my understanding he wasn't there for very long after that

How long does it take for the mucus plug to regrow if you lost it too early?

So the water breaking is mucus plug detaching?

Lost mine at 7cm dilated. I was contracting and had to poop and I wiped and said “ooooo look baby, I lost my mucus plug!”

When should one go to the hospital when they have lost the mucus plug but never got into active labour days after?

So if my mucus plug comes out do I have to go to the hospital or until I get the contractions??

Interesting. I lost my mucus plug at about 28 weeks and they did not believe me and were not concerned.

😂😂😂I took pictures at least. Like with a scale and all just to verify. Only because these doctors don’t listen to certain patients and we have to be the doctors nurses advocate and lawyers to prove we need the care.
