Hey Mike, just a quick thing to note about the Mudbug that I think is worth a mention. The 2024 version is different than all of the previous versions in two ways: first, the carpet is actually different as Billy said the old one was discontinued, but it seems to play very similarly so that is probably no big deal, but the other difference is that they used to be 100% flat fill, so it changes the bag up quite a bit with that mixed fill in the 24 version. Just a heads up!
@@MikesBags interesting feels and looks the same i will have to compare again. They are very close. Thanks for all ur reviews. We sold out the juiced bags from ur video. They loved the support and i have set coming now :)
The Mudbugs are awesome once they’re broke in. One of the best carpet bags on the market. I’m not a flat bagger and I have zero issue controlling them.
It depends on what you are looking for in a bag. These are more of a dirty game bag. The Rougarous can play dirty but are also good at going hole for hole.
I don't like one better than the other. The Magic are little floppier and not as easy to cut, roll, and flop as the Mudbugs are. It really depends on what you are looking for in a bag.
They are on my list of bags to review but I don't have a set yet. KillShots are some of the more expensive bags. It's hard for me to justify their prices just to do a review. KillShots is not one of the companies that sends me bags to review. For example, these bags cost me about $150. RU-vid has paid me about $50 for the views I've received on this video. I'm $100 in the hole and that doesn't include the time that I put into doing the review. That's probably more information than you wanted to know. I want to review them but I'm hoping I can find a set locally that I can borrow.
Hey Mike. I’ve watched a lot of your review videos and I’d like your opinion on what a good ‘first set’ of bags would be for a player just getting into more serious tournaments in my local area. There’s so much out there that it’s a little overwhelming. Thanks
Not sure if you can use the Marilyn bags from Big D bags but they're some of the best bags that me and my wife have thrown to date and we own quite a few sets of different bags based on Mike's videos. I'm not Mike but hopefully I can help you if you can't get a response from Mike. Good luck
The Big D Marilyn, B3 Coyote and Swag Bags Chaos are all great bags to start with. I would also check out the Templar X'D Out, Big Mac Bags Whatever, and True Cornhole Aftershock (that review is coming out Friday).
