I’ve not uploaded for a while so hope you are all there still!
I have a new addition to the bike family, a Voodoo Bizango 29er, and this was the first time I've taken it out properly. its not a review, but see what you think and feel free to ask anything.

Love the videos. We moved to Lawley approximately a year ago; but thanks to the lockdowns I haven’t really explored the area. I rely on your videos for recommendations of where to ride. - Glad I’m not the only one struggling with the mud!

The ebikes love it up there, but it’s so muddy at the moment, I could hardly walk with the flats on

to be fair, the ardents currently on the bike do me just fine for aggresive trail riding, and theyre designed as an all weather trail tire however the saying goes, jack of all trades, master of none, which is something the ardent struggles with in the wet so id reccomend switching to a dhf 2.5 or a dhr 2.4 on the front and keeping the rear the same, but if you find you want to replace both then id reccomend a dhf 2.5 on the front and a dhr 2.4 on the rear as a good wet tire selection, another upgrade id consider with the bizango is a dropper post, i really benefit from having one, due to the fact that you can have it at an efficient pedaling height on the climbs and flats then really get the seat out of the way for the descents, it also makes mounting and dismounting extremely easy, but if youre sticking to more flat xc riding then maybe it isnt necessary

Evening, thanks for the advice, much appreciated. Yes, a dropper post is a great idea and something I’m planning but need to wait until payday. I’ll take a look at the tires. Thank you 🙏 they are nice and quick rolling on the gravel, just the mud mixed with ice that was a struggle!

Hi Derek, good to hear from you. Nice to know you are still there... it’s been a while. I do still have the ebike, but my family and friends don’t have one so better to ride with them on this

@@MikeTyler Hi Mike, there's a couple of us from Lightmoor Village just getting started with eebs, so if you fancy a socially distanced e-MTB ride sometime, we'd be happy to join up once we're allowed to meet up with more than 1 person outdoors ;) We can swap some trails knowledge. I'm just waiting fro my eeb to come back from Plush Hill in Lawley with a new motor and front forks fitted under warranty, so hopefully will be back out on it soon. Until then, I'm trying to keep up with my mate on his eeb, with me on my acoustic bike. I know how your friends and family would feel with you riding your Zobop-e :D

Maybe we should get a local ride together organised. We have a good bunch that rides together in the Horsehay area. You would be more than welcome to meet up. I'm a heavier rider looking to shed a good few stones.

Have you had any issues with your Voodoo Zobop so far?

None at all, well, actually I did. It went in for its first service and had a new back wheel as there was some play we couldn’t understand or fix. Halfords were excellent and the bikes been excellent. That’s why I have a second voodoo now. 😊
