I love fishing dirty water. My theory is that the fish feel more secure during daylight hours when the surface of the water is either broken up, or visibility is very limited. They definitely seem to be more active during those times.

Great timing on this vid, my first tournament of the year (one month away) is on a small lake known for having six to twelve inches of visibility. I won't have the option of waiting till evening, but otherwise I'll definitely give your advice a try.

Fish see red and green, white and black Tie a lure in one of those colors Find trees bushes rocks docks or shade, Ledges and drop offs. Catch fish and keep it fun

I fished a kayak tourney this past weekend that it had 3-6” of visibility all over the entire lake. I had two practice days and the one day tourney. I had zero bites in all of those days. However I did notice that it seemed that those who did catch fish caught much bigger fish. The winner had 98” but it was mostly in the morning. Wind really got heavy in the afternoon. Unfortunately I caught nothing. Wish I had seen your video last week.

I remember the study you reviewed on bass finding their nests showing how important their sense of smell is. In lieu of that do you find that you get better bites when you use scents on your lures (particularly finesse lures)?

Hey Tyler, I’m up in the PNW so the water is still somewhat cold and a lot of our lakes near me are muddy. I don’t have a boat so I really just fish from the bank. Is there a technique or lure that you would recommend using? I’ve been using drop shot, Senkos and jigs mainly with little success. Any advise?

I had my ultrex stolen and 3 graphs stolen if anyone has something in there garage I wouldn't even begin to show what it would mean to me to be able to show the gratitude to be able to get back on the water ..

Muddy water is like tall grass for land predators, makes hunting easier- more food, more growth.

@@albow4oops5I can see that more fertile waters provides a medium for a diverse and expansive forage base allowing for maximum bass growth rates but not just roiled up water.
