Murdered: Soul Suspect is Square Enix's new murder mystery game. This game requires you to investigate as a ghost detective trying to solve his own murder. The game is a spiritual sibling of the point and click genre, playing very much like a Telltale game. There is very little action per se, as most of the game is spent scanning through clues trying to find an answer. The story sparks interest, especially in its historical references. It definitely can be a better game. Some sort of solid fighting mechanic would have helped this game switch paces. Nevertheless, this game is a solid outing, and is worth checking out if you enjoy point and click games or murder mystereies. If you enjoyed, make sure you like, comment and share!
In Salem, Massachusetts, Detective Ronan O'Connor is thrown out of a window while pursuing the brutal and relentless serial-killer, the Bell Killer, who finishes Ronan off by shooting him. Revived as a ghost, Ronan meets the spirit of his long-dead wife who informs him that he can not join her until he completes the unfinished business binding him to the living world. Ronan investigates his murder, and gains instruction into his new ghostly abilities from the ghost of Abigail, a young Puritan-era girl. The investigation leads to a local church to find a young girl, Joy, who witnessed Ronan's murder, and possesses the ability to see ghosts.

The MC was an amazing actor. I'm disappointed that the end was too rush. I wanted to see a final good bye to Joy whose like a daughter. And we never got closure with Rex. It also pisses me off how Iris died. She'd been a cool friend to Joy who has the same burden. Sh*t we didn't even get to see the mom! Only her photo face and back... In the end it was still a good movie.

Thanks so much for the playthru - this is an amazing story. There's some rough edges, things about the storytelling that need work (even if that's not exactly about to happen) but when the full picture unfolds, it's wonderful for giving complicated truth. And human goodness (why else fight the dark?)

A ghost detective how is this not a TV show or a movie hell even a human detective working with ghosts solving supernatural cases would be cool. Another crazy thing is this is a 2014 game and i'm juse hearing about this now years later maybe i should go buy this game it has a nice story.

As someone who has 100%ed this fantastic game it truely is amazing, an unfortunatly lesser known game but amazing still, its plot twist is truly amazing and one i didnt see coming which is extremly rare the only other game to have done this was RDR1 when i was little.

Antonio Lewis Better off saving your money for the new console since this game isn't worth 60 bucks. I know it's a matter of opinion but from my experience, this game was not that good. There's a game called Possession that came out a few years ago that used the same ghost spirit concept but in this game it is more restricted and plays pretty bland with a generic uninspired main character who dresses as a hipster. They made it so obvious who the bad guys were, considering this game is very cliche, anything that represents the color dark. If you get the chance to see the movie Ghost from the 90's you pretty much have played the game's story already and the ending is copied off of The Ring.

I assume that was Abigail, since she was possessing him, was probably able to use powers while in his body. After all she was a couple hundred years old, and she could raise lost souls from hell.

At the beginning, I figured Rex had something to do with all this. But the best question is...Why did she choose Ronan?! If Rex was her best spiritual medium, why did she start off with Ronan? The ending really explains the whole "Ronan's true rap sheet" line though...

She used cops, because they were officials, and officials where the ones responsible for the executions. As for why him, she probably spotted him at a crime scene and nabbed him, after all the bell killer had killed more than just the 3 we saw in this game.

It took too long to get to the truth or the part of it about the "spoiler" being targeted. It was obvious after a little while, dragging that out was unnecessary, with that said... wow... it was a good story I was actually riveted and I watched the whole thing. Thanks for doing this! I feel awful about all that died as well (someone else mentioned that). So unnecessary and of course that bitch spoiler she really was ugh....
