Such splendid little treasures from the past! I was thinking, what I'd love to own from your production to remind me of you and the times we've experienced separately yet connecting in some way. It would be (perhaps slipcast from your finds) a tiny dolls leg as a pendant with the words "It's a LEG!" written on the back in porcelaine paint! Or a found red bead with a little tag saying "Ooh is it a berry or a bead?" 🥰 I wasn't fast enough for your etsy shop this time, only things left weren't for me. I imagine you couldn't make enough to not sell out more or less instantly! I love the perfume bottle but even more the ink bottle with ink inside and linnen stamp, so interesting and amazing you found them together! That stamp could also make a very pretty impressed pattern for a porcelaine or pendant in silver clay (pmc), or smashing cufflinks even. Those commemorative coins would be lovely Christmas decorations for your tree with some festive trimmings on top! I imagine your tree must be full of curious found objects with a bit of sparkle, chandelier crystals, red lenses and bits and bobs of copper and brass with bows, tiny bottles with tinsel.... I'd love to see it if you'd care to show us for Christmas! I wonder, how on earth do you store all your fantastic finds? It must must be some collection by now! So many categories too. Merry advent friends! Thank you for another ramble in the bramble ❤️ 🌟

How do so many treasures end up along riverbanks? Was it common for refuse to be dumped near these waterways? My husband and I have done a lot of fun explorations, but in western Canada it is very rare to find anything other than geologic rocks and minerals. Or are all these finds the result of redevelopment areas where previous civilizations were simply built over? So very interesting

I just loved this one. You have so much history flowing around your shores. I just love it. When you found the ship builders token and said Barrow when you rubbed away the mud, I immediately said Barrow in Furness. We have visited friends who live there and while there we went to the ship builders museum. Such a great find and love the history behind it. Also, thank you for the detailed info about the embossed vs. debossed raised vs. sunken stamps. I guess you wouldn't really know the difference unless it was pointed out. But it makes perfect sense with initials being stamped on linen for laundry identification and ownership. I just love watching you two. You remind me of my daughter and I. When she was young we would go along the shores of San Diego, Ca. on the tide line and collect tiny baby sea shells. On our hands and knees using our finger nails to scoop up the miniature miniscule sea shells. Sadly she passed away at age 23 from cancer. So watching you both doing this together just makes me so nostalgic and full of joy. Thank you for sharing your adventures.

Mom, are you related to Emily Blunt? because you could be sisters.. I could spend weeks/months hunting with you two. My husband laughed because I would say or react exactly the way you both do.
