Another difference is the bezel on the Toyota Land Cruiser edition is brushed steel. It’s noticeable in real life photos.

Wow, Good Call! I didn’t notice that! I don’t think any of the promotional literature made mention of that. That makes a big difference to the premise of this video. It makes the price increase more valid.

Hi Jim, I just bought the Mudman TLC, I love it, I figured if I'm spending Mudman money, a few euros / dollars more wont make much difference. We have Toyota Hilux trucks on the farm and these products compliment each other, so that swayed me in the TLC direction. Your diesel dunking, oil dipping, and mud bath coating swayed me in the Mudman direction. Keep doing the tough reviews and demonstrations, and don't hold back on the findings or conclusions. I have a last Gen GW-9300 Mudman with the carbon fiber strap. More than tough enough to keep up with my Taco.

As someone who doesn’t own a mudman and never really been interested in them….Im gunna disagree. This one is the best looking mudman I’ve scene and it’s significantly more attractive to me than the regular one…I own a 2023 40th anniversary 4 Runner that I’m in love with.

I was able to find this for $375 shipped to the US from a European vendor, I think it was worth the extra $75 over the base GW9500...but I own a red Toyota 4Runner with bronze wheels, so the coloration of the watch kind of matches well with the color scheme on my 4Runner...not to mention my dream vehicle would be a Land Cruiser so for me this Toyota & Casio collab watch was a must purchase since there wasn't a huge price difference.

There was a Mud Boy Mudmaster GWG-2000 Toyota released I think 2 years ago, but it simply didn't do it for me.....I'm not driving Toyota, and also I don't like GWG2000. I think that GWG2000 was just a 50 shades of gray, which isn't in my opinion a right colour layout for a Mud Boy. It's very clear that thing was occupied by resellers and it's still worth 3 times more than it should without any reason. Speaking about new Mudman Toyota, I don't know, that thing will be a pain and a headache to buy.....plus the parts will be the unobtanium, especially that band. Like for the idea but dislike for a new Mudman Toyota. In my opinion, Lava line is absolutely crazy......MTG is insane, and a price tag is insane also, just like a Mudmaster and Rangemaster too. A Lava Frogman is the absolute masterpiece, but a price tag is the absolute insanity........ 🗡🗡🗡🌩🌩🌩 Like

Honestly not much difference from the original mudmaster which I do have and like you it is one of my favorite watches. Just my opinion, it’s not worth it for me, but I can see how it would be for an enthusiast.

As you say it seems 'unfinished'. The watch body should be harmonious with the strap as was done with the cracked Mudmaster.

Ok, I don't know what to say. They make some changes, I think they added some metal to the bezel at 3 and 9 o'clock but I don't like the golden buttons. The strap is nice but don't match the case. But I would buy this over the 500 usd casiotron.

I have thought about this one and passed. Long time Toyota Trail Teams Edition FJ Cruiser owner with 262k miles. I own the TLC Mudmaster which I think is better than the TLC Mudman for reasons you state. It's actually kind of a disappointment. I've owned the Cracked Earth, sold it, thought about rebuy, but wonder about overlap with my TLC Mudmaster.

Yeah I mentioned not long ago on another video of yours about this watch,..$440.00 uhhh noooo I would not pay that, I am sure you can simply order a replacement band like this from Casio..and slap on a regular Mudman like this one.

@@JimKinkade you know I would think so I needed a replacement band for a ProTrek a couple months ago and wanted the original and contacted Casio directly.
