My heart would literally break at the thought of an au or something where scar actually regrets killing his brother. Even if that would probably never really happen, its still something to think on
Regret? I don't know. But I guess he did talk to his "ghost:" trapped in mind. I also doubt Mufasa would really regret if he died. Simba is the only sunshine in that family, seriously. Scar, I guess, thought about Mufasa as the Sun. And considered himself as his shadow. He wasn't shadow, no, really, he was a fire. Yeah. A big fire happend in some forest or something. Not a cutie too. Something like that always happens when one takes things to heart and the other has no bad intentions mostly but doesn't really take the first one seriously.
@@ArsenFox that's a different way of lookin at it as well, I wasn't thinking too far, just an au idea is all. Thank you for sharing your thoughts though ! ^^
@@Liv_the-dragonshifter21_When he saw grown up Simba he took him for Mufasa. He was psychically unstable (of course because gods and his parents ect . rejected him and tried to kill EVERYONE just to get rid of him. That is why he acts so "lazy". Depression, man) at that moment. And seeing things? I guess he may felt guilt. Just. Never really understand that. Cats tend to be tsunderes, you know.)
I love how even though Scar turned his back on Mufasa, Mufasa still looks out for his younger brother. He could have driven Scar out of the Pride Lands long ago, but didn’t. He still thought there was good in him💔
@@thingsthathappen307 In the Lion King movie Scar calls Mufasa his big brother. “Why, isn’t it my *big brother,* descending from on high to mingle with the commoners!”
As far as I know... For a while, King Ahadi loved both his sons equally, but that changed over time. Taka began to make friends with the hyenas living on the border of Ndnona's lion pride territory, which was, of course, forbidden to a lion. From then on, Ahadi turned away from his second son, only caring for 'the golden boy' Mufasa. Muafasa's character also changed, he became pompous with his brother and spent less and less time with him. As a result, Taka became estranged from his father and brother, and from all the other members of the lion pride except his mother, Queen Uru. Taka may have received the scar, which later became his birthmark, from his father as a child or as a young adult, or it may have been given to him by his brother Mufasa when Taka challenged him for leadership of the pride. From then on, Taka died and Scar was born. King Ahadi grew old and named his eldest son Mufasa as king of the Ndona Pride. From then on, Taka spent all his time with his mother. Uru sensed that he would soon be taking after his mate, so he asked "his little prince" that if he could not forget the hurtful words and rough play of his father and brother, he should at least forgive them. The next morning only Scar woke up, Uru was dead. The "eternal second" prince was left alone for a long time after that.
@@balasabence4553 I have also stopped to think about one thing, and that is how old the characters are during the events of The Lion King. By doing a little research, you can see that male lions live 12-15 years in the wild (this last figure being very high and quite difficult to reach due to illnesses, injuries...), that they reach sexual maturity at 3 years of age and that they reach their prime at 4-5, starting to physically decline at ≈10 years old. Taking this into account and the assumption, surely erroneous (as happens with cats and the false equivalent of 7 human years for each cat year), that each human year has its exact equivalent, we are going to assume that sexual maturity reached at 3 years old is equivalent to 18 human years. In this way, we have that 6 human years are equivalent to one for a male lion (makes sense, since those 4-5 years for those who reach their prime would be equivalent to 24-30 human years, quite precise if you ask me). In this way, we can establish some similarities. I've always thought of Mufasa as a young father, in his late 30s/early 40s if he was human, so this would equate to 6-7 years. Scar would be similar aged, and Simba as a cub, no older than one. The young adult Simba at the end of the movie looks like he's about to enter his prime, so 3-4 years old (more like 3 of you aske me, since I see a human Simba closer to 18 than to 24, being a not fully-grown subadult. At this age, is when young male lions start to challenge older males for dominance, which is literally what happens on the movie). With this, Simba would have spent ≈3 years in the jungle, making Scar 9-10 years old, matching with the age at which male lions, if they have not already died from injuries or illness, begin their decline. This is completely made up and useless data, but I thought about it for a while and thought it would be interesting to share it.
Every time I see the pictures of Mufasa showing love to his brother I can never hold some tears and I'm like " Your brother loves you, Taka! Can't you see that??"
Actually scar isn‘t evil, he was jealous of Mufassa because he was the king, scar planned that he wants to kill Mufassa, but in the show they never show us what scar between mufassa, actually when scar said to simba "run and don‘t come back" scar cried cuz he actually don‘t want it to be mufassa‘s dead
@@Simbala-bq5vy I am not telling you that Scar was right just... A child don't own his parents a certain kind of an attitude. And sometimes they don't even own respect. Also. Family is in your heart, not in your blood. For Scar too was Simba's "family". Yet when he died most of audience cheered.
He may not be good and there had to be clear favoritism if the two of them were related but I feel there is complexity to it because for a while scar hadn't been himself I think he looks like choyo because he lost to choyos spirit and it overtaken him he was vulnerable and succeptable to it. Mufasa resembled someone choyo despised. That is the real reason he wanted him to die he got tired of being called scar maybe choyo never really was a fan of the name but its like a sort of settlement he had to face. So I do feel very bad for scar. He didn't get to live as himself very long and its sad he would pe put in a situation where he would never be king.
Honestly Scar finding redemption in his afterlife would be interesting to see. Especially Shenzi Banzai Ed and the other hyenas making peace between the lions and hyenas. I also can imagine Simba becoming friends with Banzai too and even Kovu and Kiara would become friends with the Hyena Trio too.
Il est vrai que d’un point de vue globale Scar n’a jamais vraiment été aimé par son entourage ce qui expliquerait son obsession pour le fait de devenir roi. A mon avis il espérait prouver quelque chose non seulement aux autres mais aussi à lui même.
The only one who truly loved Scar was Simba. When he was a kid. They had an amzing connection. No one even his parents could influence that little sunshine as much as his uncle. That is the only thing I can't forgive Scar. His betrayal to himself. He stopped for a moment that time. Mufasa. I don't know their past to judge. But from what I saw he wasn't that saint too. But the child... What have he done? And the worst thing I guess Scar never really hated Simba. He could have killed him so many times... Yet. And he never held his character near him. As if not trying to charm but to make him leave. Yet Simba always returned. With that warm sincire smile on his face. If he only killed Mufasa and kept Simba near him he could won. I can say many things about Scar but I doubt he would be a bad ruler. But that..
@@ArsenFox Simba was the main target of Scar's jealousy, as he saw him as the one who had stolen the throne which, according to him, was rightfully his after Mufasa. That's why he never tried to kill Mufasa before Simba was born, because he reached his breaking point when Simba came along, because when there was only Mufasa, there was still hope of him taking the throne one day. For Scar, Simba was the one who screwed everything up, even though he had nothing to do with it.
@@kefkapalazzo678 One who showed up. Thats all. So he was like Harry to Snape. And also from the beginning he thought that Simba will... Like when Snape demands that Harry should never knew he helped him, remember?
@@ArsenFox No, I don't think their relationship is really comparable, given that Scar really did try to kill Simba, and more than once. Unlike Snape, who may not have been particularly fond of Harry, he still looked out for him during those 7 years at Hogwarts.
Ahadi had black mane, golden fur and green eyes it is assumed he had Scars type of nose. Uru was rust furred with brown eyes and had mufasas type of nose. Ahadi was a cruel father to Taka, prioritising Mufasa and neglecting his second son. But even mufasa didn't have it easy under Ahadis tutorage. He was a strict, no nonsense king. Uru was kind hearted and sheltered taka as best she could from his disdain.
This reminded me of my cousin because he passed away I wish I can see him one more time and I cry when I hear this song I’m the nice one my brother is the mean one
Great animation.. Great backstory for Scar…This can make a person feel sorry for Scar, though there’s no good excuse for killing his brother …This even shows that Mufasa forgave Scar and that is so beautiful
Its sad none knows scar is pure evil or not, i wish we got more canon stories, but I'm this might be true, he became evil because he was manipulated by his evil dad
@@INTJ10551 Look up on google images of this lioness named Zalika. And look up Choyo The Selfish Lion(Mufasa and Scar’s grandfather). Choyo is the adopted younger brother of Mohatu(Mufasa and Scar’s grandfather)
While it would not fit the character at all, it would still be cool to see a side of the story where Scar actually regrets his decision to kill Mufasa. It would add a dimension to his character that few people probably considered he had, but again… it would make no sense overall.
Ahadi and uru loved and cared their both children mufasa and scar or taka mufasa had the capability to rule The pride lands there Fore mufasa became the future king this made a veangence fell inside the taka after the death of the ahadi and uru mufasa and sarabi became the king and they gave birth to simba. So in the story we can see sarafina nalas mother she is may be scars mate in otherwords nalas father in the case of a lion pride a lion can mate Every lioness. So after simbas birth scar realized that he cant rule or never be a king if the pride Rock so scar make a territory with the hyenas the main dangerous scavengers and he planed a meticulous plan to kill mufasa by blaming littile simba he killed mufasa and exile simba from the pride lands and he blamed the other lioness with some dramas and he ruled the pride lands by the activate use of hyenas so he just thought himself that to make sarabi his mate and rule the pridelands like a loyal and a good king like mufasa but she rejected him and she resist the other lioness to reject him so after a long time simba is return to the pride rock eith timon and pumba and he take back his crown so hyenas aet scar we can understand that the worst feeling veangence that make everybody entirely bad so now mufasa scar ahadi uru mohato zira sarabi every lions who passed away who belongs to the pride rock region are living happy in the magnificent sky like twinkling stars
What a tear jerker it is between these 2 but it would have made since if this was the First Lion King Movie, and Simbas Story could have been The Lion King 2 Simbas Daughter Lion King 3 we would have a Trilogy if it went that way
