Mashallah, I'm a revert Muslim myself, since age 10 Islam cought my attention. Thanks to Mufti Menk I continue to fall in love and understand Islam better. Hamdolilah Allah SWT made me Muslim.
My father is one of the best human being, you could ever meet, he has a lot of Sabr, he was healthy handsome and quite young suddenly heavy stroke paralyzed his leg and hand but my father said alhamdullah with everything and he is very happy with this destiny and life he is good example he always gives dua to us with every obstacle I see , I pass successfully because my father is very grateful to Allah that I am his child and showers me with happiness and prayers and love.

Salam alaykum.. brothers and sisters.. let's not call the non believers with bad names like 'stupid' and 'moron'. It's useless. I know we all want to defend our religion from such insults but it's better for us to keep quiet than say bad words. Dont bother arguing with the non believers. They won't accept the truth if all they have in mind is to insult Islam. No matter how much we give him information about Islam, if he refuses to accept the truth, it's useless. Just give information to those who wants to know the truth. It's not good to say bad words because Prophet Muhammad never say bad words to those who mock Islam. Its ironic how this video is about Sabr but most of us aren't patient enough when people mock our religion. Let us all remind each other of this. We are all insaan. Forgetful. 4 years i have same situation and then I was doing sabr allhamdullah in 2019 I got everything wlh I was praying but i never believe u will have this situation always i said Allah is great he know everything and he will give you and I wait my time wlh I got everything now alhamdullah please when u think about hard life pray for Allah believe me when u are Muslim u are rich one love all brothers and sisters 👉❤

I came across this lecture of Mufti Menk 10 years ago, I fell in love with his lectures and mashallah he is world famous now for many good reasons. At times of hardship Mufti Menk's videos helps me tremendously. Inshallah I hope to meet him one day. May Allah protect him and grant him Jannatul Firdous.
So many people we know their names, but when you read about their life hardships it opens your eyes. Sometimes people live their whole life in hardship, but have impacted the life of someone who goes on to do great things because of that person.
I have been tested, recantly with the sudden passing of my beloved husband late Sept 2023. I am listening to Mufti more and more. I am all over the place and in to pieces but only today with this message, I understand the tests of life by Allah. May Allah, my family and I including my beloved husband, pass our tests and be reunited in Jannah tul Firdaus al ola in a beautiful house and be happy forever. My late husband introduced Mufti to me as he really enjoyed his talks. Insha Allah. Amen ya Rub.

Masallah ,sheikh mufti ur preaching so much give me a lesson and alhamdulilah im one of this sabar,for 18yrs i learn to be sabar wn the father of my 6children left us and stop supporting and dnt help me but in my mind its a trial and how i mde to be patience and i cme to work abroad for housemaid i leave my kids and noe aljamdulilah they r big and im happy to them coz they grow with discipline and i alwys make dua for them that Allah subhnatalaala guide in good way and protect them alhamdulilah

You ADMIRE his recitation, yes, but you don't ADMIRE to recite like him. The correct thing to say is; "I ASPIRE to recite like you", or "I shall STRIVE to recite like you" I share your sentiment though, as he really does a beautiful recitation. But being a sister, I wouldn't recommend you trying on a male tone, as that would prove difficult, heh. BaarakAllahu feeki, dear sister. Some people before you did ask such questions, and on account lost their faith (in Islam). The Greatest Deceiver Quran Surah 3:54: The greatest Deceiver (Makara) of them all is Allah. Beating Wives Quran Surah 4:34: Men are the managers of the affairs of women … those you fear may be rebellious admonish; banish them to their couches, and beat them.
Ahhh you take verses out of context. Please know your own religious book first, and then pick out much of the same things as well. When reading the Qur'an.. start in the beginning and do not skip around. If you need a better understanding of what you are reading.. I suggest to read instead The Noble Qur'an. There you will find explanations in greater detail. It is best not to assume, because of not understanding what you are reading. May you be guided in a good way, dear Robert!
When he compared suffering through calamities the same way as suffering through studies for an exam.. That to bare patience and keep your character through hardship is the study of how you live this life to prepare for the next.. Beautiful!
AR RA Very clever! Did you think that up yourself? Such great comedy from the Muslim world. Of course there is no comedy from the Muslim world, and no scientists of note either, because the Theory of Evolution is a cornerstone of science.
AR RA most Muslims aren't Arabs so "Muslims are busy supplying oil to..." is inaccurate, no worries it's a common misconception. Also we can see that a difference by every 1% in DNA makes the biggest difference from bone structure to mental abilities, that's because DNA codes for proteins or polypeptides which code for Amino Acids which make up the primary structure of enzymes, enzymes are required for all metabolic activities etc etc - I'm sure you know all this but the point is because we share similar DNA doesn't mean we share the same proteins or polypeptides and hence amino acids and the primary structure of an enzyme is determined by the sequence of Amino acids so even one polypeptide in a chain of 300 out of place will code for an entirely knew amino acid...you can see where I'm going with this, such a little difference can hugely affect the outcome so it's not really surprising to anyone with basic biology information that we share similar DNA to such a large extent.
