MashaAllah, Mufti Menk looks much better with an Imaamah. May Allah give us all the ability to love each and every Sunnah and implement them with steadfastness into our lives. Verily we will be with those whom we imitate.
Good words are like the best of fresh and sweet soft cool water, to quench the heat of thirst for the soul. In these times we have so much offered to drink abundantly from, but good fine clean water from the deep is a rare treat, not found running from faucets, nor bought in bottles, but provided by the grace and sense of clean beauty of the Sustainer of all.. Thank you for sharing the recitations and the finer nuances of pronouncing our selves before the Most High Eternal One .Subhanallah!
You know what is Amazing? Stars. Its light years away from us and the stars we see twinkling at us might be dead but since its so far away we are getting its twinkling light now. So that star you see in the sky might be a burned out star... wow.. amazing. Just 1 of God's glorious designs. Just like the stars let's do something positive behind so that our good actions shine bright and help others even after we are gone. Allah is the greatest! :-)

Why are some of you quibbling over minor things, the Major points of the lecture hold credence for Those who love God of all faiths. Those of you who argue history it is pointless because the God we serve transcends time and none is worthy of worship but him. If that be the only truth brought by the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) how much more truth do really need, all the lies in the world cant change the fact that only God is worthy of worship and to him we seek our help, and everything else as we are sustained by his grace and mercy. SO get over yourselves and your what I will call academic Zealotry. Mufti thank you for this wonderful explanation of Al Fatiha as a new Muslim it fed my soul.
I miss this Imam so much to come and revive Tauheed to this Ummah. Many of Us *Muslims are drowning into Shirk, innovations, and following our worms & desires. If you sees us it as if we have abandoned the Blueprint/Curriculum of Our beloved Prophet Alayhi sallatu wa sallaam.
The Sana'a manuscripts contain palimpsets, a manuscript page from which the text has been washed off to make the parchment reusable again, a practice which was common in ancient times due to scarcity of writing material. The washing, fortunately, was not complete: that’s how earlier texts can be seen using ultraviolet light underneath newer texts.Christian manuscript (at St. Catherine’s monastery ) was examined a few years ago under ultraviolet light to reveal an earlier, lost Greek work.
The earliest manuscripts of the Qur’an, which probably date from the early eighth century, are preserved in museums in Tashkent, Sanaa and Istanbul. It must be emphasized repeatedly that the primary deposit of the Qur’an was and still is in the hearts of the memorizers, for whom any written form acted only as an aide memoire. This emphasis prevents any thoughts of discrepencies entering into the recited text...Hewer, C. T. R. (2006
“The Qur’an says of itself that God will preserve it intact without error for all time (Q. 15.9). This is regarded as the primary miracle of Islam. It also challenges those who doubt it, to bring forward ten verses of comparable eloquence of their own composition (Q. 2.23); 52.34). Scholars are agreed that this has not been done. The Qur’an is written in a style that is party poetic but truly unique and unlike any other form of literature in the Arabic language.--Watt, W. M. (1970)
Mashallah good tafseer of Surah fatiha....unfortunately he missed to tafseer the very last ayat....nonetheless very very good lecture...alhamdulilah..jazakallah khair for posting it
These Yemeni Qur’anic fragments do not differ from those found in museums and libraries elsewhere, with the exception of details that do not touch the Qur’an itself, but are rather differences in the way words are spelled. This phenomenon is well-known, even in the Qur’an published in Cairo in which is written: Ibrhim next to Ibrhm Quran next to Qrn Simahum next to Simhum In the oldest Yemeni Qur’anic fragments, for example, the phenomenon of not writing the vowel alif is rather common.
Brother what you said is true. Why we should know the birthday of the Prophet (may peace be upon him) coz its not relevant, as we want only his teachings. Let me brief you. if you are married or having a girl friend and you love her so much. You will try to learn so many things about her in order to impress her. for example her birthday, favourite fruit, colour, movie etc. And Rasool (Sal) says if you do not love our Habeeb more than you love your self, your family, your wealth, etc. you are indeed not a true believer. So my question, we call our selves true muslims, and we say we love Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and we say when he was born is not relevant. When Allah (swt) says he is Habeeb Allah (most beloved of Allah), and will Almighty Allah get angry when you are are rejoicing the birth of his Habeeb ?
Fawzer Faiz you can rejoice in his existence by practicing his teachings and passing on his message to other in a beautiful way, why concern yourself with the date he came in to existence? it is a matter of respecting his way of life you dont need to show love and adoration to the prophet by celebrating his birthday, i mean what will you do throw a party! he is not even of this world to enjoy his own birthday anyways it is a mattet that is very frivolous. this life is a matter of prioritizing . priopritize his way of life that in of itself takes a whole lifetime to achieve and sustain. and you are aware that not everyone gets a long life with what the average age being around early to mid 60s
@@maafiareloadzz8236 Birthday is actually Christian's culture as they celebrate Jesus (bpuh) birthday as Christmas but the people from other religion also follow it.... *And Verily those who follow the teachings of other religion they belong to that religion* ..... Hope you understood!!
@@fawzerm The example of Muhammad SAW is far more greater than the examples you gave! Your girlfriend is need in dunya n Muhammad SAW came to aware us if Allah n His commands! Is your love limited to what was his birthday???? N if celebration of birthday is only way left to show your love then Sahaba (R.A) had far more greater love for Muhammad SAW, if they never celebrated it then who are we to say that we will celebrate his birthday because we love him! May Allah SWT guide all of us to what is right! Smeen
Actually, the qur'an does mention that Muhammad was a prophet and messenger, surah 33:40- Muhammad is not the father of [any] one of your men, but [he is] the Messenger of Allah and last of the prophets. And ever is Allah , of all things, Knowing. surah 48:29- Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah... surah 3:144- Muhammad is not but a messenger. [Other] messengers have passed on before him... The job of a prophet is to warn people and to inform them of the true God.
This process of memorization and compilation and compilation of the written form means that the science of manuscript criticism, which is central to New Testament scholarship, is almost non-existent in Islam, as almost no variant readings in ancient manuscripts exist...Hewer, C. T. R. (2006
