Hi all,
In this video, I show you how to make a mug rug all on the long arm. I have some template designs you can download for free from my blog, the link is below. The blog post will also have some directions on how to make one yourself. I originally had the video with 2 mug rugs but I decided it would be way to long to show both, so I might release a Part 2 if I get time to go in and edit it down. The designs I used in the video are from Quiltable and they are also linked below. I make these often because they are a fast gift and still made with love.

Happy holidays Adam, why did you go back to the snapper system? What size quilt frame do you have? Did you move? Basement in Palm Springs ? I use to live in Redlands. We moved to Tahoe/Nevada side! Love it here. Not for everyone but….

lol this is an old video. This was in Cleveland. I use my snappers sometimes but mostly I am using zippers and magnets. Really just depends on the quilt I am working on. I have a 12ft gallery2 frame.

Even though I’m not a mug rug person, there were so many tips for how to work with designs on Prostitcher. Thanks Adam.

I am a beginner and this video showed me lots of things I didn't know. I would have loved to see all the steps that you took to stitch this out but I think I can figure it out since it looks like it was the same as stitching a design on a full sized quilt. I have an embroidery machine I wonder if those designs can be used with the pro stitcher? I will have to do some research on that.
@adamsewfun.
@adamsewfun. 3 года назад
I’m not sure what other steps you might be referring back to, I’m sorry. As for embroidery designs, check out bestquilter.com Megan Best has the most wonderful handout explaining how to do that with Pro-Stitcher Designer.

Thank you, your tutorials are great. What is the white webbing that you use to load the material?
@adamsewfun.
@adamsewfun. 3 года назад
It’s just webbing strips I made for the sides. I don’t like my machine to hit the claps, so they take the clamps a foot away from by backing. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_vWLd4qFwRI.html

You are such an awesome teacher. Everything is so well explained. Can you do a video on how to quilt a round table topper or an octagon shaped quilt on the long arm using pro stitcher premium. I can’t find any. Looking to set up the area of the quilt with an odd shape but not sure how 🤔. Thanks for sharing.
@adamsewfun.

Dine, I have done a tree skirt that was round. I loaded it with just like a square but I basted down the whole thing before I quilted it. I put on my Glide Foot and just quilted across everything and trimmed when I was done.
