Mike Tyson said everybody thinks he was so tough but Ali was willing to die for the sport that he loved and Mike wasn’t. Every time he talks about Ali he tears up and to me that reaffirmed what I already knew. Tyson only 2nd to Ali in my eyes. These 2 men changed boxing in many ways. S.I.H. King 👑
@clodaghireuk3214
@clodaghireuk3214 Год назад
Mike's end was raw. His last fight was such a surrender to the sport. I've heard loads of recent interviews, and the man's human insight is shocking. You just don't expect sensitivity and humility. You have to just love him. But no one compares to Ali.

Ali was loved worldwide, I have followed him since I was a little boy, he's so inspirational, I'm a huge boxing fan, and Ali was the very best, but he was so much more than a boxer, he had conscience and principles, and he fought for so many when he refused the draft, his interviews were brilliant, I especially loved the Michael Parkinson interviews. rip.

Muhammad Ali was THE Greatest for a number of reasons. Although pound for pound, he was not the hardest of punchers, he made up for it with his speed, skills and stamina. It's for that reason alone he won or even retained most of his title fights especially when it went the full distance, be it by the 12th or 15th round. But unfortunately for him, as a result of the bruising punishment that his body and head had taken from the nearly 2 decades of boxing, he had to pay a heavy price in the form of Parkinson's disease. The fact that he survived a full 36 years from the time he was diagnosed in 1980 with the disease is by itself a miracle. That in itself shows that what a great champion and survivor he was. There will never be another boxer like him in a hundred years to come. Rest In Peace....The Greatest😇

The charisma that this man possessed has never been matched. I mean he befriended every opponent he ever fought. Plus, the taunting he would mostly do was just for pure entertainment and he knew this. A man beyond his years and a man way ahead of the times. One of our early Black Statesmen Ali, Sugar Ray and Joe Louis gave us a standard for BLACKNESS a world standard. This is what makes him a Revolutionary Black Boxing General Whom we all owe accolades and due respect forever. He took the POWER of BLACKNESS combined with Malcolm X's shotgun words and put them in his hands. You know if they couldn't keep up with his thoughts or his words... U know they can't keep up with his hands? In fact I think they felt the PUNCH before they saw it? Peace and Happy Birthday to THE GREATEST!!!!! The Honorable Min Muhammad Ali

In that footage (19:15) where Ali talks about "Cleopatra" watching his fight in London against Cooper, for a long time I was wondering what the hell was he talking about. But I found out that he was referring to Liz Taylor, who was in attendance at that fight. She played the role of Cleopatra in a movie and it was one of her most famous roles.
