Am from north london too so i know,used to study under shaykh Hasan Ali institute when I was 6 when he first establised Safar Academy in 1998 in turnpike lane MSQ.

I've found it when men decline it's taken as the final decision & no harm done ppl move on but when a female is firm & declines, it just goes down hill from there. I've been put into same circumstance a few times before, Alhumdulillah I've made the right decision every time but have also acquired backlash for it. So as a practising muslimah I've chosen to work for less wage but in a better tolerable work environment ever since. it's in human nature to bring change to something one might think needs fixing & in some cases we are seen as just that. Maybe it's due to lack of knowledge in those individuals or just plain ignorance nevertheless we have to be persistent with our beliefs and stand our ground despite the outcome. May Allah (SWT) keep us all far away from harm & confused minded individuals & grant us all halal risq & rozi. Ameen.

then tell me why Imam Bukhari's grave eminate sweet perfume that people would take his soils and replace a new soil every single day, until they( the muslims) prayed to Allah to stop this miracles or else there will not be anymore soils to cover his grave. Not all christmas parties involve alcohol from start to finish. To accomodate non-drinkers alot of staff parties these days involve a meal before the pub or the nightclub where you can go straight home after the meal...also it takes 2 to tango if you choose to be drunk and be loose and then choose to have sexual relations then that is your fault...you need to look at yourself it has little to do with a party.
