I think in that one part in the second opening when he is fighting jiren and uses kaioken maybe that’s another variation of ui but with more power. Like he uses kaioken mixed with ui off screen to increase his base power and break the restraints of ui. UI sign is like a base form. If Goku keeps his heart calm- MUI If Goku is using his emotions- TUI It’s like SSJ and Mastered SSJ You don’t need to constantly be angry to maintain the form once mastered. Whereas normal SSJ, you do have to run on raw emotion the whole way.

Tui/Uio is "his own version" of ultra instinct, as he explained it allows him to use his emotions without getting nerfed, this is so goku can use it all the time, almost like turn it into his new base form, maybe its a technique and not a form which would make a lot of sense, but it's not supposed to be his strongest, Mui however is, it if Tui/Uio is a technique then mui may as well be an actual "form", just like how goku can't use super saiyan forever it would be the same for Mui, he's not expected to always keep his heart calm, only when needed, much like every other form he has.

Beerus is the strongest of Gods, he has no choice but to be, his entire point in the story is to push Goku to new heights. TUI is simply the best for Goku because the whole point of the arc was trying to get Goku to learn his own form of Ultra Instinct. Thus, it allows Goku to still use his instincts and his mind and his emotions. I have a feeling he will stack super saiyan with Ultra Instinct Omen for his own form of UI.

This has already been debated so many times, so first UIO is not needed since TUI and MUI are better but MUI and TUI have been debated for long so in my summary, TUI was more efficient in the battle since goku needed to use UI but not drain as much energy as MUI, in short TUI was better in the situation but in other terms MUI is better.

Mastered Ultra Instinct is a fan term it's just called Ultra Instinct in the anime

I just wanna point out this is a great video. And I definitely love the analytical breakdown. Many fans confuse Omen for True. That couldn’t be further from the truth. So they look identical one in the same they are two entirely different forms. This is showcased by the difference in how each variation of Goku with an ultra instinct fight in comparison especially these two looking very similar but moving reacting very differently. Especially fighting. It’s like the reverse of what Gohan fans try to say bout Gohan in the Buu arc. They lied and say Gohan’s in a transformed state. When really he was just in his base form. Omen is essentially a power up also a transformed state but it is the base form of the mastered version of ultra instinct. The indicator of a saying being in a transform state must have two out of three requirements fulfilled. 1) Eye color change. 2) Hair Color change. 3) Aura color change. In the Buu Arc Gohan’s eye color or reg, hair color reg, and aura color is regular white, just like The Earthling Z fighters. Sometimes we can be tracked, such as the Kaio-Ken technique. Goku‘s hair color is the same but his eyecolor and his aura color look different. But that’s just a concept of dramatic visualization for epic fighting scenes. I think that’s something they have corrected overtime technically Goku‘s eyes aren’t supposed to change color but I think it was a concept from the manga introduced into the anime which was corrected over time. Ultra Instinct Omen Goku: Eye color Grey. Aura Color White & Blue. Hair color Black. Goku has 2/3 for transformation requirement.

Tui is no different than super vegeta or super trunks. Its suboptimal but risks something for a big gain. In this case, goku sacrifices some of the divine properties of ultra instinct for more power no different than trunks sacrifcing speed for more power Ui is like ssj1 Tui is like Grade 2/3 Mui is like ssj 2 The big difference here is goku's lack of knowledge of furthering his power down the UI route since its inheritley weilded by indifferent beings (difficult for an emotional being to adapt)

Ultra instinct was originally hinted at on king kais planet when Goku fought beerus. He is in super Saiyan 3 form, attacks beerus but jumps back. I believe Goku says something about his body protecting him. This is the anime, I have not read those chapters of the manga

Yeah, we definitely need to re-standardize the names it's getting ridiculous. UIO and MUI shouldn't change(except to maybe call MUI CUI for Complete but it doesn't "look" as good), but the middle one can't be called "true" since that's literally a misnomer. I like your EUI, but SUI would also work since it's, essentially, a Saiyan-specific form. Aesthetically, my favorite is UIO. That aura was peak and the white hair wasn't necessary.

People need to understand that the strongest form ≠ most efficient form. TUI was much more efficient in Goku’s battles against Gas than the other forms, that’s the reason why at the time it was deemed the better form to use.

Reread the top manga version all the way to granolah one thing i noticed Mui in top is just mui like moro arc except it's takes a toll on his body cause he didn't train enough to wield the technique properly from whis dialogue Moro arc mui is just mui from top but no draw back like stamina issues or couldn't wield the form properly like top manga cause he train enough to use and wield mui with no problems And granolah arc mui goku couldn't suppress his emotions so he get weaker rather than have stamina issues or couldn't maintain the technique properly like top

What you failed to realize is these terms are applied to the level of power and state of being Goku is while remaining in said Angelic form. For example The Kaio-Ken has 20 different levels of power. Ultra Instinct Omen represents Kaio-Ken x1 - Kaio-Ken x9. Mastered Ultra Instinct Represents Kaio-Ken x10 - Kaio-Ken x20. Perfected Ultra Instinct represents Kaio-Ken x50 & up. True Ultra Instinct is higher than Mastered but Lower than Perfected. Let’s say M.U.I. Goku is 100. P.U.I Goku is 1,000. According to the Angels Perfected Ultra Instinct Goku (Morro Arc) is 150. But the Angels have 10,000 different levels of Ultra Instinct both Omen & Mastered. Goku’s has only completed and or mastered two of the lowest level cycles. In an order for the Angels to truly see Goku as formidable he hast to reach the level 1,000 instead of 150. This does not downplay Goku’s immense power level as well as transform state or state of being in the format of the level of ultra instinct mastery and or perfection he has attained or the lack thereof such as omen. Or true ultra instinct. This just makes him weaker than all of the angels. Personally we all know Goku surpassed a teenager angel by the name of Merus. Essentially what I am doing my best to say is until Goku has perfected and mastered all the levels that are within different realms of power of ultra instinct. He will be a monster to mortals but he will be the weakest or of the weakest in comparison to the angels. I want to make it abundantly clear, these numbers are not true and are not important, what is important is that the numbers represent the concept of higher realms of power in which the hierarchy of angelic power is represented. Perhaps ultra instinct has 100,000 levels within it. That means Goku has that much further to reach to attain Elite level power among the Angels. If you were to be the weakest angel out of the hierarchy of themselves and angelic power, you were solo all the gods of destruction all of the mortals of all universe is and every other being within the encompass of that hierarchy. It is essentially a never ending journey to reach higher levels of power. Which connects back to there always be someone else stronger than you. Maybe not maybe there won’t always be someone else stronger than you. But the reason why that catchphrase is so important is that you never lose your work ethic to be stronger even if you are the strongest or even when you reach the epitome of power. For example all the Z fighters represent different levels or stages of perfection. And even though they’ve reached mastered different levels of power aka perfect, there are still higher levels of perfection (power) they can attain. The grand priest could represent level 90,000 out of 100,000 in the hierarchy of angelic power ultra instinct. So even if he is the strongest, that doesn’t mean he reached the final stage of angelic power even though he is the closest to the final stage of angelic power, if that makes sense. 🙏🏿
