Although Madras city maybe mainly Tamil Cinema focused one, but when it comes to Films, there are still millions of Hindi film lovers based in this City. As a school pupil, I can still remember how the City came to a standstill when the death of Legend Rafi Saab was announced on the Radio and Television. Thousands of Textile and Jewellery shopkeepers even closed their shops as a mark of respect for Rafi Saab. That kind of sombre mood was prevailing in the City. Legend Rafi Saab's voice is eternal and shall always remain in every corner of this World.

So far the best i have listened to better than sonu nigam also but please dont use the word close to mohd.rafi sahab because i have heard the godly singer mohd.rafi sahab live concert. No singer can ever come anywhere near the standard of THE GREATEST GODLY VOICE OF MOHD.RAFI SAHAB. NOBODY CAN EVER BE BORN BACK LIKE THE GREAT MOHD RAFI SAHAB. Sonu Nigam is not even sound anything like the Legendary Rafiji. He is just popular and these days anyone sings Rafiji, calls themselves a voice of Rafi. I must say Prassanji has a quality voice and has sung to the best possible for listeners to feel The Legend. That’s really good enough for me. I too have met Rafiji in Holland and got an autograph in 1979 World tour. I absolutely agree with u that there is only 1 Sun, 1 Moon & 1 Mohammed Rafi. Peace be upon his soul.
