मुझको रह-ए-हयात में लुटने का डर नहीं मैं वो चराग़ हूँ जिसे खौफ़-ए-सहर नहीं (रह-ए-हयात = जीवन की राह), (खौफ़-ए-सहर = सुबह का डर) शायद है एक और फ़लक ज़ेर-ए-आसमाँ मैं जानता हूँ मेरी दुआ बेअसर नहीं (फ़लक = आकाश, आसमान), (ज़ेर-ए-आसमाँ = आकाशतले, आकाश के नीचे अर्थात सारे संसार में) ख़ंजर चले हैं दिल पे सितम के कई हज़ार लेकिन लहू से आस्तीं कोई भी तर नहीं देखा था उसने मुझको शमा देखने के बाद फिर उसके बाद क्या हुआ मुझको ख़बर नहीं -नामालूम

Kashyap Saheb, this is priceless , timeless, it is overwhelming to listen to him singing like this. I wonder how many people could sing in kharaj like he did. Such depths with so much of simplicity. Genius. No wonder he became a sunt in the unt. Ameen.

Very rare ghazal, heard for the first time, such heart touching lyrics, sung in Jagjitji’s divine voice,created magic and furore in the audience, as we could feel in the video! A beautiful ghazal, rendered with such warmth and feelings, too good for words. Enthralling music, could be heard umpteeth times. Mujhko Rah-e-Hayaat mein Lutne ka Dar nahin. Main wo Chiraag hoon jisei, Khauf-e- Sahar nahin.Such heart rending lyrics, Khanjar chale hain dil pe sitam ke, kayi hazaar, Lekin lahoo se aasteen, koi bhi Tar nahin. Shayar bhi kya khoob likh dete hain, dil ko chuu jaate hain ye alfaaz, Dekha tha usne Mujhko, Shamaa dekhne ke baad, Phir uske baad kya hua, Mujhko khabar nahin! Bahut bahut shukriya aapka m kashyap ji, itni khoobsoorat ghazal sunane ke liye!

Absolutely love Raag Darbari and with this voice it's a perfect match.

A beautiful Raga Darbari Kanada rendition he sang here ,Darbari is a very tough Raga...Two Ragas of Aandolon may be used here.... One is Jaunpuri and one is Darbari and if you use Ma Pa Da, wrongly it will be the Raga of Dawn and second will be the Raga of Night..... So, it is very heavy and tough Raga Darbari created by the Mia Tansen in Akbar's Court.
