जब उसकी मंगेतर रोमी (अमृता अरोड़ा) उसके बुरे स्वभाव के कारण उसे छोड़ देती है, तो समीर (सलमान खान) अपने गुस्से पर काबू पाना सीखने के लिए मुंबई से गोवा चला जाता है। एक बीच हाउस के प्रबंधक के रूप में काम करते हुए, समीर को पड़ोसी फैशन डिजाइनर रानी (प्रियंका चोपड़ा) से प्यार हो जाता है, लेकिन वह अपने पिता दुगराज (अमरीश पुरी) के साथ नहीं मिल पाता है। रानी को लुभाने की समीर की कोशिशों को उसके नए रूममेट, सनी (अक्षय कुमार) ने और कमजोर कर दिया है, जो खुद उस लड़की से शादी करने के लिए कृतसंकल्प है।
After his fiancée, Romi (Amrita Arora), leaves him because of his bad temper, Sameer (Salman Khan) moves from Mumbai to Goa to learn to control his anger. Working as the manager of a beach house, Sameer falls in love with neighboring fashion designer Rani (Priyanka Chopra) but is unable to get along with her father, Dugraj (Amrish Puri). Sameer's attempts to woo Rani are further undermined by his new roommate, Sanny (Akshay Kumar), who is determined to marry the girl himself.
