Excellent acting by all in this movie but the script and direction was terrible. This could have been the best boxing based movie to ever come out of India but the director fcked up. Feel bad for the lead actor who trained so hard to move like a real boxer and for people that don't know it takes years of dedicated training to move like he did in this movie. What a waste.

In my humble opinion, you got the movie wrong. The script and direction was so beautiful. Without showing the over the counter masala, a simple story of dreams and the hardwork put in to achieve them. How the ground reality of boxing looks like in the sub urban districts of states. A motive given by love for a boxer who was taking all up to explode and move forward. Even the fine moments when he lost the last fight, the other fighter who won was also a victim of the system. So the protagonist lost to maybe ensure justice to one individual at least. So, I think the writing and direction was brilliant along with the acting. That guy has truly displayed the agony the character would feel at times!
