hey man really enjoyed whole playthrough, wanted to say tho this what you did back then Is I think impossible now because: I've started new game 50 times and never had a acid pool in between those rock-valley type structures, never. let alone getting a thermal resource next to it. so this kind of base you had was miracle.

It is VERY good on some maps and on others enemies are immune to it.

I played on 5time more enemies, brutal, half time between waves and double dmg of enemies 😂👍 rly fun

Just a tip: you can scout the map for as long as you want, until you build the HQ and start doing quests, no waves will spawn against you. I spent about 4 days just scouting the map for the best location... I did find a few swarmers and other strong later game units (since they spawn closer to the edge of the map), but I did not die and scouted over half of the map. At the end with no repair kits remaining I settled for a pretty nice spot :-) Btw, keeping the first maps where you scout for small amount of deposit are good to keep for outposts, since they do not spawn enemy attacks. You can get insane carb and iron production using synthesizers on first/second desert maps with just solar panels.

Interesting! is that for campaign only or survival also?

@@MuklukPlays I didn't try it in survival, and since you get waves in other hard maps in campaign (once you have orbital scanner) even without an outpost I would guess it doesn't work in survival. In campaign waves are determined by the amount of missions you have done and lvl of your HQ and time played AFAIK.
