The lead actor Vineeth Sreenivasan is primarily a singer, director and script writer. He is the son of a legendary actor/scriptwriter Sreenivasan who has actually made many Mohanlal classics in 80’s and 90’s.

Advocate mukundanunni is a very famous comedic role played by actor Salim Kumar in an old movie Meeshamadhavan, and its been a cult icon. Thats why you get Salim Kumar as the grandfather character in the movie, as a homage

My favorite inner monologue: “ I should have killed someone else, not this guy” 😂

The lead actor here is the director of the Malayalam movie 'Hridayam'. You should get to the songs of Hridayam asap. The entire album is a breath of fresh air. ❤️

Vineeth Sreenivasan is one of the nicest guys ever. He started off as Singer . All his songs in 2000s wer super hits. Then he became one of favourite directors. He himself says he want to do only feel good/ happy ending movies. This character is a shock for us Malayalees

This is the director's debut movie but he is a prolific editor. That's why a lot of things, including the addition of narration, happened in the editing table.

You had it right Korbin; the director himself said that adding voice over was an idea that came to him in the editing stage. After the first cut he felt the movie lacked the x factor. And adding the voice over helped him get rid of a lot of expository dialogues.

You guys missed pretty much all the big Malayalam releases last year. Jana Gana Mana, Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hai, Thallumaala, Nna Thaan Case Kodu, Rorschach, Bheeshma Parvam, Hridayam.

Malayalam films have a priority ❤️

I like how the aspect ratio of the movie changes from 4:3 to 16:9 to cinamatic

There is a movie series in Malayalam which is sort of Pink Panther. There are two Inspector Clouseaus in it. One is Mohanlal and the other is Vineeth Srinivasan's father, Sreenivasan. The movies are called Nadodikattu, Pattana Pravesham and Akkare Akkare Akkare. The second one is my favorite movie of all time but the third o e is a different director and not as good

Vineeth Srinivasan looks a lot like his dad Srinivasan, who is easily one of Malayalam cinema's living legends! Highly recommend checking his filmography as well , maybe when you do classic month next :) this film tho ♥️

The lead actor vineeth is clearly an alrounder in cinema He wrote / directed some good movies like thira,hridayam,thattatain marayattu and malarvadi arts club He produced some good movies like anadam and helen He is so successfull as a singer and have so many good albums too He is a decent actor and proved his talent in thaneer mathan dinangal,mukundan unni,aravindanthe athidikal and manoharam His combo with nivin pauly have a seperate fanbase in kerala ❤ Thats vineeth sreenivasan for malayalam film industry 🔥

The" Unni " part of korbin's version is spot on i must say

The last dialogue in the scene his wife says, in malayalam language, we all say that... "ingane oombi thirinju irikkumbol...." which nobody else in the world can understand it in its full scale even with the support of the best translator. The cultural linguistic understanding comes into play. That last dialogue is a reality.

I watched it and got a headache as I couldn’t accept his actions 😅. Then I went and recommended it to everyone one I knew. Even people who didn’t speak Malayalam. A colleague is from Andhra and she watched it and loved it too. The reason is that I wanted to discuss it with everyone. That’s how much I loved it. Have never liked watching Vineeth onscreen but in this, he set it on fire ❤

See.. u guys missed this movie last year and now you are feeling like it would have been easily in the top 5 movies of your liking. Not a hater but a huge fan of the movie its just brilliant my top movie of 2022, but i don't buy the background monologues being post edits the movie is completely designed and shot in that manner from the start for sure its just a PR technique to hype up, I don't agree with the comparison with NightCrawler but if its an influencing movie for this one then surely the background monologues was one of the key features in Nightcrawler too, but i can surely bet there are remakes coming on this movie in other industries specially bollywood. Vineet sir acting is just awesome that thinking face only happens when you know there is a background monologues to be added and he is doing it while shooting in his mind, just watch one scene of it with sound then without sound do you really think that long pauses would have worked ? and Vineet sir has small facial expressions and head nodes during those monos that is surely planned, he is delivering the mono in his mind.

Please watch the malayalam movie DEVADOOTHAN released in 2001. Its a totally different experience to watch. A very unique movie starring mohanlal.A romantic Mystery horror thriller.

The ending is just superb. I put that bit on repeat. It blows our self-consolatory moralistic bullshits. Yes reminds me of Nightwalker - in the sense it gives us a middle finger to our moralistic nonsense.

Never thought you would watch this.
