Sweet looking slicken-em up job, thank goodness for air conditioned cabs on equipment, that was pretty dry and dusty. It has to be really nice to be able to move the smaller equipment around with the new trailer, kind of gives you the ability to do those smaller projects when time/demand presents itself. Nice video with the mulcher and dozer. You do high quality work! I noticed with the older equipment I owned (1980's-1990's) when the ambient temperature reached 95*, issues would start flaring up...engine running a little too hot, hydraulic hoses begin leaking, etc. I'm sure equpment manufacturers have overcome those problems now. And it's nice having AC also...lol. When joining 2pcs of ductile iron pipe I would hook a 20' chain with hooks on each end around each piece of pipe about 3-4' on each side of the joint. Use a tooth on a bucket to loop the center of the chain to, raise the bucket, raising the pipes' joint in the air until they slipped together. Always had a bit of dish soap on the job to make the joints slippery. Thanks for the video.

New Work! Mulching and Grading a House lot. This Mulcher have great Power! And make All to little Piece. Then Work with the Dozer, grading and clear the Complete Areal. Lay a Drainage to the Road. However a Perfect Work. 💪👌
No doors open on this job. Between the heat and dust it would be stifling doing it. Of course Chris gets the job done perfectly ready to build that house with a really nice lawn.
@@Manoffire260 Yep' Change Orders during job is more work, usually same tools, but inconvenience to following customer and inconvenience to schedule, so pay-up !
@@4Classie - more PROFITABLE work. It creates repeat customers too! I NEVER give a hard schedule date to a customer until the evening prior. Until then it’s “early May” or “this summer”. As it gets closer there may be tighter windows, but always with add-ons and change orders in mind on the current job.

You not get wasp (yellowjacket) nests in those small trees? Used to see them all the time in similar growth here in the UK & it made walking or working a tad fraught at times.
Just curious, do you or any of your farmer friends have a tiller? It would be interesting to see the delayed outcome of a mulched patch alone to a mulched and tilled patch. How would would regrowth differ?
Watch Chris for a while. If you can figure out why he does what he does, it'll let you know how to approach a situation so you don't end up with a rougher patch than the one you started with. He always has a plan, and usually works from one point to another leaving it pretty well finished as he goes. 🙂 Good luck!
Those four or five stumps that you pictured here, would the auger attachment for the skidsteer make them "digestable" for the Kamatsu, or for mulching?
When you got the trailer, you mentioned possibly moving the Komatsu dozer.. I see you’re moving it around quite a bit. Curious to hear your thoughts on that truck and trailer combo with the Komatsu on it.
A comment & 2 questions Comment, having the trailer makes moving the little dozer into & out of a job a job quick & easy. 1 question does the undergrowth grow back after you mulch it down ??? & 2 how much does the Komatsu weigh, just curious ???
Well getting to mow and grade that lot again is MONEY IN THE BANK. You handle that skid steer like most folk handle a ZERO TURN MOWER. My son and his wife just started a HARD SCAPE BUILDING BUSINESS and he is staying covered up. He bought a new tractor but needs a SKID STEER .
No, he doesn't. He doesn't even know what a respirator or mask is. After all, he's never done this kind of work... since he was 18. Good thing you are here to inform him of PPE so he can learn from you, mom. Sigh. Always has to be at least one "smarter than the pro" commenter.
Love to watch all of your videos, but one thing troubles me. The fisheye lens distortion of you camera fails to properly show the flat level ground you are working on. The fisheye lens makes it look like the center of the picture is on a hill and both sides seem to dip into a lower level.
Why do u always start in the middle of a job? Could start by going around the outside and be mulching the whole time! Kind of like a farmer in a field.
