The all-new, 10-episode second installment of THE X-FILES is executive-produced by creator Chris Carter, with stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson returning in their roles as iconic FBI Agents FOX MULDER and DANA SCULLY. Mitch Pileggi also returns as FBI Asst. Director WALTER SKINNER. Additionally, the all-new episodes will feature guest-star appearances by Annabeth Gish, Robbie Amell, Lauren Ambrose, Karin Konoval, Barbara Hershey, Haley Joel Osment and William B. Davis, who reprises his role as “Cigarette Smoking Man.” Along with Carter, series veteran Glen Morgan serves as an executive producer.
In 2016, THE X-FILES drew an average Multi-Platform audience of nearly 16 million viewers and was last season’s No. 2 broadcast drama. It also was the season’s most talked-about event series on Twitter.
THE X-FILES originally premiered in September 1993. Over the course of its nine-season run, the influential series went from breakout sci-fi favorite to massive global hit, and became one of the most successful television dramas of all time. The show, which earned 16 Emmy Awards, five Golden Globes and a Peabody Award, follows FBI special agents Scully and Mulder, as they investigate unexplained cases - “X-Files” - for which the only answers involve paranormal phenomena.

Mulder is more of a skeptic than Scully. Scully is too devout of a Catholic to be considered skeptical.

@@GhostLightPhilosophy I mean, over 38 years I rarely ever have men notice such things. Women do first thing. We used to joke that we could paint the living room black with pink polka dots and rearrange thr room and my dad still wouldn't notice. Sometimes men and women and care about and notice different things.

i was so grossed out by this episode i lost my appetite since i was eating something and of course someone said the same thing to me when i got my haircut and they didnt notice i replied the same way are you kidding me. and they should of called Booth/Brennan from Bones in to help with this case. also was it a wig Scully was wearing or her actual hair i couldnt tell this episode was just disturbing/creepy thats why i didnt notice.

Everyone is talking about the stupid haircut, but no one mentions anything about how creepy that episode was. Also the loopholes, what happened to the people that lived in that apartment, they just left? No one got arrested? Did her sister survive or died with that guy?

I actually like the new wig haircut. I just wish her voice wasn't so raspy... But as she is a smoker, well what can you do. Thankful we have XFiles in 2018 :)
