Synopsis: Girl gets played by scumbag and ends up being reborn with all that knowledge in her head. She sets out on a revenge tour and ends up with true love in the end. If you recognize this story and think to yourself " huh this should have been in Republic era ".....You're right! This story was done before, with brilliance, in Republic era China. Only problem I had with that story was the lovebirds weren't given enough time to recognize each other. There seems to be a few differences between this story and the last one, with obvious reasons, so I'm excited to see how this cast takes this wonderful story into a new time period. ❤ So far my only complaint is the subtitles, which are controlled by RU-vid, don't translate the inner thoughts. If there's any translators out there and would like to give us viewers a hand 🥺 We would much appreciate it heat❤

This is a very good reborn/revenge-plot costume production with a twist of transmigration from modern times. Even if the storyline doesn’t quite cash in on this twist, it’s interesting to watch. I like this strong/adamant FL and fierce/cunning ML - played by really good actors. Only thing missing is romance, but it isn’t really that kind of story. I truly enjoyed this one. Beware the missing subs since it make it a bit hard to follow at times. SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!! After having assisted her husband (2ML) to become a respected and powerful General with the Emperor’s trust, FL and her family are killed by him. It turns out that he - using a certain jade-pendant - pretended to be her childhood friend, but never loved her and only used her outstanding martial arts to have her join the army and impersonate him, so he could eventually climb the ladder on her merits. Now he wants to live a good life with the woman he actually loves, FL’s cousin (2FL). FL dies regretting helping the wrong person. Luckily FL is reborn at a time where she and 2ML had been married (unconsummated) for 5 years and her cousin (2FL) just announced that she was pregnant with 2ML’s child, originally trying to force her to accept her as his concubine. This time around, FL accepts her entering the house and even suggests that she becomes an equal wife, much to everybody’s surprise. Meanwhile a Prince (ML) is looking for his missing jade-pendant and is watching a dance at the brothel when he is attacked and FL intervenes. Seeing her sword technique, he feels that she is much like the childhood friend whom he trained in martial arts and gave half his jade-pendant to. Knowing the assault she was subjected to in her first life, FL starts her plans for revenge by giving the Prince (ML) a map to aid him and his troops in battle and asks him to come to the wedding of her husband and cousin. Baffled but also intrigued by this request, ML agrees. Things get complicated when it turns out that 2FL is actually a modern day woman who transmigrated into ancient times, making it a battle of the wits. Well, not spoiling too much, this has a happy ending.

This is the exact ancient version of a modern army general's wife drama. But still i love both versions. Even though script writer took the whole story i am glad they had the decency to change timelines. As for the casting of drama its experienced and talented ones . Extremely good to watch.

This was amazing! I loved how the SFL was actually a person from the future and thought that she was the destined heroine. Also that the FL was strong and it was because she made herself strong. The only thing I would want more of is romance between the FL and the prince. But I like seeing romantic stuff

Both leads are a good match together .glad to see fl can defend herself and knows martial arts and great to see that her friendship blossomed with her childhood ml ( friend ) prince ,into adulthood . OMG this was amazing this FL is very beautiful & ML is very handsome I've always loved & admire them in all their roles they're quite outstanding I enjoyed both Ver. They each have their own unique taste following same script but also have twists to differentiate the 2 apart very well done I'd totally watch this again.
