Let’s take a moment to remember all those soldiers in the show no matter which side they fought for, for their sacrifice truly brave men more than me. And of course this applies to more than the anime but thinking back then if you got stabbed that was pretty much insta death so let’s take a moment to honor those unnamed soldiers

Back a whole year later, still epic! I watched all the anime’s shown and Lord Marksman to Vanadis is my absolute favorite

So far there are 2 anime names that I can tell Shoukoku no Altair: The one with the blonde-haired kid and the old man wearing a turban Madan no Ou to Vanadis: The one with the bow-using kid

I really like that you make a lot of AMV´s from those .... don´t know how to call them Dynasty Warriors like shows, like Grancrest Senki (which seems to not be that popular but i really liked that show).

The anime in use here is exactly the wrong one for what happened: in the case of the song's circumstances: it wasn't the Ottomans who were attacking Rome, but a kind of governmental screw-up lead to the swiss guard being eradicated by the forces of the HRE in just about the most lopsided fight imaginable in history, as they were outnumbered approximately 100:1... they really had no chance of survival, and guess what, the swiss guard and their fighting style is extinct thanks to that, and other events. Their final eradication happened at the hands of the state of Savoy in its annexation of the papal lands, a foolish experiment from the start: to have the pope be a temporal ruler was the height of ultimate stupidity!

Kinda odd. The song is about Catholics fighting other Catholics, but this amv seems to replace the HRE mercenaries with guys who look muslim/eastern. There are plenty of Sabaton songs in that theme
