Really pretty. Past couple of years I collect leaves from our camp way back in woods. Find some interesting ones and color,wow. To use on cards,but haven't used on cards yet. Might try this with clear to lock in color.!?? Maybe don't know if work. Love listening to you as you create. Mskes me smile. Thanks for Sharing and have a great week end. 😁

I have had these leaf dies for awhile and absolutely love them. I have sprayed, embossed, left them plain white, and slathered paste on them! On my desk these leaf dies are laying out to make my fall cards, so I was thrilled you used them today for another unique try. Leaves are my all time favorite dies! I have many! So thank you , the timing was super. Have a nice restful vacation in the days ahead!

The leaf dies you used are among the sets I use most frequently; often with Alcohol inks. Yours today, combine perfectly with the Hessian and the colours you achieved are vibrant and striking. It's wonderful to hear the Joy in your voice when you admire what you've achieved. I usually pack light layers, easy to add or remove as the occasion dictates. Bon Voyage. 🚢

I love the combination of smooshing, neat ink and different colours of embossing glaze and the red tinsel with that bit of sparkle to produce such a pretty effect on these TH die cut leaf fragments Chrissie, and the two cards with the texture of the hessian as a background for the leaves and the added 'Hello' with the gold embossed on a white shadow background, finish it beautifully. The gold has a lovely lumpy consistency and gives a lovely thick coverage which is very appealing used here. A wonderful look to both cards! I hope you are having a lovely time on your holiday. x

Very beautiful cards!!! In art there is a rule of odd numbers. It is more pleasing to our brain for some reason. There's been a lot of scientific research done on this. 1, 3, 5 ,7 and so on. So your first card front needs another leaf. You have 1 hello and one piece of Hessian that is good, but you need one more leaf. Just wanted you to know this.

So beautiful Chris! My father passed away yesterday and your lovely voice was like a soothing balm for what has been an emotional couple days! He lived to be 90 years young and was a joyful man until the end. Making pretty cards gives us joy as well and I appreciate all you do!

Wow. That Glorious embossing powder is indeed Glorious. Too bad shipping is so darn expensive from the UK. I love how effective those dies of Tim's are for Fall leaves. I'm a sucker for leaves and mushrooms as it gets to be this time of year. Fall's my favorite season. We have our best weather here (IMHO) and in October the sky is so beautifully blue. I feel like it's my Spring. LOL. In case you don't make a video tomorrow, have a delightful holiday. I hope you're able to sort out what to bring to wear. Sometimes I get it right and sometimes I fail miserably. Of course, even forecasts are just a suggestion. Have a lovely time!

Your leaves turned out beautifully! as did your cards. They gave me an idea to use them on this year's Thanksgiving cards. I tried finding the Chatsworth embossing powder but it seems to be discontinued, so I hope the color I ordered is similar. The only ultra thick that I own is clear, so I might also try stamping in gold and then using the clear over it; the effect of it on your sentiment is amazing. Have a great trip and I hope it's not too cold. We are sweltering here in 33 degree weather which is unusually warm for fall.

so beautyful❤. to remove the backing of a doublesided tape you could try to lift it up with a scotch tape. this works often very well and easy, if the backing is not to 'slippery'.

Very lovely! I too want to try this with real leaves. I found 2 real leaves the other day that looked like Tim holtz’s leaf fragments. They are tan colored but so pretty so I brushed some matte medium on them to seal and strengthen them and I’m leaving them just as they are. But I will be leaf collecting to try the embossing powder on real leaves.
