For "a" angle grinder? 😂😂😂 Why did all of you smoothbrained NPC's suddenly stopped using the indefinite article "an" a few months ago? Whoever is programming you needs to get their shit together and learn how English works. 😂😂😂
I watch a lot of these. Normally, it's some hacked together death trap with maybe one thing it does. Not only is yours much cleaner and serves multiple functions, but it's literally portable. Hats off to you sir!! Saves thousands on multiple machines and looking good doing it.
@@trinitybingham2406 electronic toothbrush. Edit: also by that logic all those sketchy builds are safe because if you make a mistake you just mishandled it
As a safety professional I have to say this is by far the safest mods I’ve ever seen on an angle grinder hopefully other tradesman see this and learn a thing or two.
I'm a tradesman, and shake my head in disgust at nearly every video I see. This is clever and seemingly very effective. Particularly for those who don't own a joiner, table planer or belt sander. Nicely done
I agree, however more emphasis is required on the speed controller. 14K RPM is not required for any of these actions, nor is it at all safe, and most will miss the speed control interface.
@@karizma8175 Angle grinders on 800W with speed control is very popular for tilemans, relatively cheap (35-50$ huh?), and gives common 3K-11K RPM. Which NICE for that jig. Yasuhiro have old Makita 4033 w/o this function, because of this uses additional regulator. In Makita's 125mm line speed control is option of 1.8~ kW versions, like 5090X01 (for works on concrete with diamond discs).
That’s a most positive display of the various possible uses of an angle grinder. I’m really glad that he didn’t stoop to making a deadly weapon of it as in a circular saw, a chain saw and a drum planer as I’ve seen in many other death-trap applications. SAFETY FIRST. TOP MARKS.
More of a filming studio than a workshop. His clean af tools suggests that they're likely never used on any "real" woodworking job other than for videos.
@@udhi_gn3893 Oh 100% agree. I’ve worked in wood shops my entire life. From a 16 year old apprentice cleaning work benches and emptying dust collectors to making patterns in an aluminum foundry…to just creating wood sculptures. Even when having a teenager hired to clean work benches, sweep, empty dust collectors, etc. was it ever this clean.
Wow! Now that you've shown us how to do this, how about showing everybody how to make instructional videos about everything else! Not only is your content flawless, your delivery is NINJA sharp and there isn't one wasted second. Bravo.
I've seen countless videos of people making stupid things for power tools that could be bought at the local hardware store....but this is actually very good. You can see it was well thought out, and not just doing it for the sake of doing it.... 👍 great job
Tools are expensive. I'm not saying some of the janky things people cook up are not dangerous. And I'm one for using the right tool for the job but if you can get more safe uses for one grinder. All the power too yah
this workshop is set up under a grand, assuming he got 5 such angle grinders and each of them cost 200 bucks. plus 100 for material. it still might be under a grand to have it all. but i do find it smart.
Well done sir. 99% of the "tips and tricks" videos I see are just stitches away from a bad day. Even a bunch of the attachments available for purchase for drills and grinders are pure junk and very dangerous. These are well done and the best I have ever seen on the interweb. Thank you.
For once in my life with these videos that are just waiting to turn fingers into fertilizer this one is actually something Id be comfortable using. Genuinely amazed.
Не думал что на ютубе остались нормальные самодельщики! Отличная идея использования УШМ вместо нескольких не дешëвых станков, если они изредка нужны! 👍
This is the best video I’ve seen to do with angle grinder, I have 2 but have never used them much but this video has restored my faith that they can be used safely. Also brilliant ❤ video. Very clever . Thankyou 😊
So much of me wants to make a FingerRemover6000™ joke and this, but it seems pretty solid. Dropping the speed on the spindle for certain applications, neat
A proper shop class with some basic automotive , plumbing, electrical and carpentry would definitely be very useful for the economy and allow so many lower to middle class people get a foundation under their feet earlier in life.
I think if you had an hour a day class for 4 years of high school then you could graduate as a certified plumber, electrician, welder and fabrication specialist. Or be well on your way in the automotive technician path. You may never need it to support yourself but you could always fall back on it doesn't work out as well or as quickly as you would like
@@corywilliams6558right because alot of what's being taught in school is useless other than mathematics pH classes, science, really a screwed up system SMH
This is one of my favorite channels and it's therapeutic for the OCD too! This creator has amazing talents and creativity. The only way to improve these devices would be, IMO to add dust control.
I really appreciate the outside of the box thinking, not everyone has a garage to put a 1000 dollar planer in. Nor the drive to do things for further than just a simple hobby.
Goes to show that most of the specialized shop tools are the same kind of motor with different hardware attached to it. A few simple brackets and some screws and bolts and you can make your own shop tools like that
Some of these are actually practical. I'm from a developing country and can not afford as many quality tools, so I would always improvise as long as it is safe
Absolutely incredible ingenuity. My god the things and near misses I have seen with tools of this nature. This is wonderful engineering. Kudos to the Creator. My hero!
Welcome to another edition of “how to use a motor to power mechanical processes”. This always reminds me of the old tractors that you can hook up via belts to power various equipment.
Sick jigs, super smart. Only thing I would be a little unsure about is turning it into a planer. Being pinned against the table like that seems like a recipe for kickback. Overall cool as hell
It’s almost like you are commenting tasteless sass just to comment tasteless sass. What’s being done in this video is very hard. Modifying a grinder to be a belt sander, router, joiner, and a planer is genius. And to be able to keep everything true and perfectly square is even harder.
I started watching expecting this to be anothe video of some guy putting razor blades on his angle grinder and turning it into a death trap. Pleasantly surprised and impressed.
That first moment had my spit take everywhere. I thought you were putting that first piece of structure on the actual grinder spindle. Like seeing someone fall bad not moving then pop up fine lmfao
