@@OmLedu I did but also at some point my items just kick to a random clear box even though I have boxes with all slots filled. Worked fine until like my 3rd row of chests. Did I do something wrong? Like a dropper or hopper placed wrong? Cause I’m missing 64 cherry saplings lol I can’t find where it got placed
@@MaalaAdrian Hmmmm items are skipping a certain section? That would most likely be from overlapping signals on the back. Since you have so many chests you'd need to "increase" the signal strength. So, did you just add repeaters, or did you split the redstone lines into separate sections and then add repeaters? Can't have any overlap. The missing saplings I would guess are inside the droppers & hoppers near the end. Since you have 140 chests, even with 5 stacks in the etho clock it won't flush the entire system automatically. Can add a button or lever that activates the bottom front piston to flush the system when needed.
@@OmLedu thank you once again I figured it out. Somehow my clock messed up on the 2nd row and every other interval after. In short it’s fixed but the elusive 64 saplings have been sacrificed to the end void.. idk what happened but we move on 😂

I would love some specification in terms of the chests and seed counts. Since I consider the "storage" chests only those that will store and not move the items. Which makes it 4*30=120 seeds, but if I count the chop chests it'll be 144, with the input chest 148. And they're all part of the storage system.

@@pots108 Woooooooowwww!!! That's nuts XDDDD epic stuff! That's enough for every stackable item in the game right? XD hahaha so crazy!! If you built the automated timer, even at 5 stacks of items it won't quite push everything though X] but what u can do is add a button or a lever that activates that bottom piston with the torch on it. And that will give you a way to flush the system if you ever need to. Those items won't be stuck forever either way. They'll just idle until more items turn it back on. ;] You can also speed it up by 20% by switching all the dust on the glass (behind the droppers) with repeaters. Then turn the clock from a 5 tick delay to a 4 tick by poking the max delay repeater 3 times. So that it's at 1 tick below max. I didn't figure that out until i was designing a java friendly version. Oh if u just want to lift the input chest up much higher; u can just run hoppers from the new location down to the dropper with the comparator. Wouldn't have to move any of the redstone doing it that way. Just think of the extra left dropper (the one next the the comparator) as the input. @@TheDarkMEXiCaN2020 So just that 1 chest skips? Hmm Double check the dust & torches behind it, maybe one got broken. My guess would be the torch is missing. Like the back redstone is being powered from multiple repeaters and the signals overlap behind that chest. Could also be that the rows have different delays... but that would break entire rows not just a single chest. If it's definitely not any of that, you can make it slightly more stable & 20% faster by switch all the dust that is on top of glass, with repeaters (no extra delay) pointed into the droppers. @@geaniebeanie286 It sounds like you have dust and a repeater connecting the back rows of redstone in an infinite loop. If using repeaters to power the rows, do not allow any dust to connect to the rows.
@OmLedu I believe I figured it out; when I was testing it like in the video the items only went to the top chest but I realised that there needs to be items in the spaces of the other chests for that test item to reach the last chest. If that makes any sense? Basically all my chests were empty and I was expecting my test item (which was an egg) to get to the last chest. I tested it by filling the slots and then the egg went into the next available slot. So I believe it is working? Thankyou so much for this amazing tutorial I ended up using this one and your other one together 😊
@OmLedu for some reason even though all the chests are full it will do the first column of chests okay and the top chest of the second column but then it won't put any items into the chests after that even if there is space
@@AwakeningBelle yusss. Bedrock all the same, xbox, mobile, playstation, switch. Just not the super old legacy console edition that has an invisible wall
@@thebestcrypto1777 Items go through all the hoppers 1 by 1. Every other hopper is locked at any given time. & only unlocks long enough to pull 1 item from the hopper above & try to push that hopper into the chest. If the chest has that item or an empty slot, then the item is successfully pushed into the chest right before that hopper becomes locked & the hopper under it becomes unlocked.
@@thebestcrypto1777 Anytime!! Always happy to answer questionz. Any odd number tall! :D so 1 would be totally fineeee. There is a way to include even numbers, but the video was already getting long & complex >.> lolol Basically u can just raise the back redstone by 1 to have it work with even numbers.
@@OmLedu ahhh thank you. Got it working and I've cleared out all of my overflowed cobble chests. Really putting that sorter through the test. Thank you so mucb
You can add filters before the input or after the output. I would add them before the input to lessen the amount of items that end up going through the MISS sorter. This video might help. If not just let me know & we can discuss it further
@@ChrisTheCentaur On filters? If it's overflow protected.... itttttsssss.... 40... 41? somwhere in there. if it is not overflow protected it is around 21. I just put 1 item in all 5 slots (the last 4 slots being the filler item) & just let the machine figure out how many items will go into the 1st slot.
