I liked this video a year ago when I first watched it. Now that I am watching it again to help set it up I like it even more. Thank you for the helpful content.
Hi Rob, I enjoy all the great stuff that you come up with in form of these videos. USP of your videos that makes it more enjoyable while gaining knowledge is - the way you present/ demo such great stuff that it keeps your cognitive mind on while hearing /watching out those special effects in between which brings laughter/smile on our faces.
Hello Rob, I tryed to follow what you did with the Static translations, it happens that when a email is received, the translation is empty. Did you have the same issue? thank you
Some useful links just in case servicenow documentation is not clear enough: support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB1156957 support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB1156980
The options I am missing here: 1) Possbility to preview translated notifications on the configuration level and not only when it is sent (static notification). This requires from us to prepare users with proper language settings and create tickets to trigger the notifications in order to test it properly. Long process. 2) Language setting which deterimnes in what language the notification will be sent is done via field 'preferred_language' on [sys_user] table, while in my opinion more logical would be if user could select prefereed system language on [sys_user_preferences] which is accessible from user profile. This should determine in which language the notification will be sent to the recipient. If I am from Poland and I have preferred language set as English (the one you set from your profile view), I would expect to get notifications in English.
