I literally thought of making this and had to check the internet if someone has already thought of this before. Perfection

This is very interesting! People always say that if you want to make your own hoops with loops that you have to solder them on. I didn't want to start investing in those tools, being poor, but I'll bet if one were careful, they could make their own hoops with the loops done like this, without soldering.

Excellent tutorial and very timely. I bought wire to make custom connectors for a three strand beaded bracelet and my drawn design is just what you have made here. I have been putting off construction though, because I'm not very comfortable with wirework. With the benefit of your tutorial, I now feel I can go ahead with it. Thanks so much!

Thankyou so much. I have been trying to find sterling silver ribbon clamps, but this will work just as well.

@jeannehinrichs5734

the 4 out side loops don't look like there going to be strong enough they a pier to be "un finished" as in easy to pull open if snagged

Lovely tutorial, Thank you! I'm experimenting with wire wrapping etc. & wanted to ask you about the way you treat the wire. I notice you pull it through your fingers just before you move on to the next step. I wondered why? :))

To keep the wire straight I think and a bit of a habit for her.
@sternentigerkatze

+Jennifer Taylor To straighten the wire and also to make it a bit warmer, that way it is easier to shape it. :-)
@CSLdesigns

+Jennifer Taylor You're welcome and thank you. I do that for a few reasons. To straighten the wire before starting to work with it, and it also warms it up which makes it more malleable and easier to work with. And then it's also just become habit, so I know do it most of the time without even realising it lol. But I have a tutorial coming up soon on how to straighten wire, where I also go through these and a few other things that might be helpful :-)

+CSLdesigns I'll look forward to that. I did wonder if it in some way helped to make the wire less brittle? Thank you for replying.:))
