I feel bad for CMJ she has such a nice personality, so talented and good at everything she does. But sadly she has the personality that mostly gets friendzoned by guys, personality that makes people comfortable. If she was cold, hard to approach person, guys would be more curious about her. Her one sided love reminds me of many Chinese drama where the theme is, girl fell first but the guy fell harder. But here she really got friendzoned. Yeah, I understand Gu, Huwei must make his heart flutter and with CMJ he just feels comfortable, there's no butterflies. We need butterflies.🦋🦋🦋 Forgot to mention, she is also very beautiful.

At least he’s being open about seeing her as a friend whom he feels comfortable with. Unlike in the mid of the series where it was kinda confusing, he likes Nan Nan but felt like voting for CMJ out of courtesy but told Nan Nan that he’s going all in for her. So it’s kinda conflicting too.

So glad she was still able to build a connection with someone after Tao Zhi. Guo Xu and En Ya now casually holding hands is giving me life. I can just see them dating after the show. I feel sorry for both CMJ and GZX. CMJ is head over heals on GZX, but GZX doesn't feel any spark for her, and all he can offer to CMJ is true friendship. On the other hand, GZX fell in-love with another girl whose eyes is already on the other guy, because GZX missed his chance to express well his feelings towards Huwei during their date. He tried but he has shown not enough maybe because of his being too considerate to others too.
Yes I don’t blame GZX for not liking CMJ. It’s his choice ultimately and he didn’t feel the he liked CMJ. It’s not his fault. He tried with this date with CMJ, but there’s really nothing there. The way he treated the girl (his date with NN vs his date with CMJ) is so different. It’s obvious that he likes NN and it’s nobody’s fault.
I admire CMJ for her bravery and really trying to go for Xiao Gu. But I’m sorry it’s really super pushy and in so many instances, Xiao Gu probably felt very pressured and henceforth kept emphasising how he is comfortable with her and sees her as a friend/teammate…… 😢

CMJ knows exactly what she wants and because of that, women like her can easily intimidate guys. She said it herself that it's been a while since she was in a relationship. We know what it's like to have our walls up for so long. Our cheerfulness and childishness means that we are bringing our walls down to give an opening for men but when we do, men mistake it that we're open books, easy and even unmysterious - lacking the challenge they want in the courting stages of relationships. Why are there so many female contestants that are older than the male contestants. Some guys do mind that the females are older . You could tell the hesitation in the females’ tone when the females revealed that they are older because they know the stereotype that men prefer younger girls. Good to know that Guo Xu and Xiang Jiang don’t have the traditional male mindset of dating a younger girl. But imagine if they did, the show have been a failure and it would be the Casting Director’s fault for their wrong casting.
