Thanks for the video man!! I really hope that you test this rules based strategy that I combined from multiple ones here on youtube, it is as follows: Indicators: 20 period EMA + 3 SMA (21,50,200) + stochastic RSI (Periods: 8) + RSI (14) Market: Forex Timeframe: 5 min Rules: 1. Trade with the trend, Only buy when the the SMA are moving up and 21>50>200 and the price above them, vice versa for selling. ( No trading between SMAs) 2. Buy when the Stochastic RSI is in the oversold area and crossing up. 3. Buy when the RSI is above 50 and pointing up. 4. When the price rejects from the 20 EMA (candle closes below then a candle closes above without reaching the 21 SMA), Buy and target 1:1.5 with SL just below the swing low. 4. When the price rejects from the 21 SMA (touching/wicking is enough) & (Must be engulfing rejection) , Buy and target 1:2 with SL just below the rejecting candle. I really appreciate your efforts so thanks again and please look into this one. Edit: for No. 4 move SL to breakeven after passing the 1.5 RRR

How long does it usually take to back-test these strategies? I've been trying to back-test a simple MACD crossover strategy on QQQ, but *man* it's taking a while. I only managed to compile 20 trades worth of data in 4 hours!

Interesting, late entry, some modifiers and go fore more profit.

Using 3 MACDS with different time frames is much more effective and precise. I bet, a VWAP and EMA 200 can replace two of these indicators. As multitime frame the "Trend meter" is very precise and great to get entry and exit signals.

I use the same strategy, but for entry, I use the MACD. It gives better entry signals.

Wait for the 30 minute and 100 to match the trend of the trade not just the side of the line bet it improves ;)
