Nice to see people embracing horns for the lower frequencies, which is tough to do right and have decent time alignment and blending with the higher frequency driver(s). I’ll look for your follow up to see what you have brought to fruition.

Nice project, I'm also inspired by Ojas to make some diy speakers with multicell horns. So very hyped to see your take on the subject. It also be interesting to hear and see a bit more in details how you went to work on the design and the choices you made when working on the speaker (because those of Ojas are very beautiful, but we don't know a lot about them).

I love it. Can you share the plans? I want to make a horn similar to this.

Hi Justin. Can’t believe there are only 6 comments! Awesome information thank you very much. Can you please point the way to any links or info on how to build similar type multicellular horns (as in your video)? I am a long time musician, own a large PA system, woodworker, speaker reconer, DIY audio member and own a few books on speaker design. I’d like to build multicellular horns for my PA system. Thanks Justin.

Hello Justin! I have a question from Argentina! Is it mandatory that the separation between the drivers not exceed the wavelength of the full cutoff frequency in horn loaded loudspeaker designs? For example on the cornwall IV the mids to highs crossover is 5khz, and my estimate, via some autocad drawings, is that they are vertically separated by 15cm and that is more than twice the wavelength of 5 kHz, it's actually 6.86 cm... Thank you!!!
