You're fantastic girl! Congratulations on your 1k!! I looove how you make such important videos, like they are so full of these honest emotions it's just amazing. I've seen almost all the movies you've used here and god I love them. Was SO happy to see Whiplash, Soul Surfer and Little Miss Sunshine, I adore these movies. And your work with the quotes is amazing. Like you take all these different stories, but build one thought and you carry it through the video, like I don't have a feeling that these are all different movies, it just blends into one idea, one image. And of course I can deeply relate to it, you know I do, so there's no chance for me to be indifferent to this video. Love it very much!

I literally cried when I watched this. It's so true. Why are there people who is always trying to take you down and make you feel like you were nothing? I have felt like this before and it's horrible, it destroys you, it makes you doubt about everything you've worked on. This video is a masterpiece. So thank you. Really.

my world in a nutshell , most of my older cousins and most of my aunts and most of my uncles and supposed friends make me feel like nothing and feel so worthless and ugly and like i am not enough cause i different than them and want to wander the path to be myself without having to hide behind a fake mask and pretend to be ok and fake smiles in order to not be questioned about it and how i feel empty and broken ...

I don't know how I missed this one, I really don't, but this one is so raw, so full of emotions that it almost seems as though you've taken a part of yourself and given it to the world. This pulled at my heart, it just make me feel so much, it makes me realise that this is something so many people relate to, feel, and that I'm not alone. With this you've made me realise that there's someone else out there who knows what it's like to never feel enough, to never look in the mirror because they're afraid of what or who will look back at them. I enjoyed this video. Not getting views and subs is something that I struggle with too. I'm pretty sure it has almost nothing to do with the quality of the video, the thumbnails, the editing, etc. I'm not talking about my videos in particular. I've seen some RU-vidrs recently that did daily vlogs and had over 500 videos. They barely broke 100 subs. These videos were cool, they had time lapses, custom thumbnails, dogs, cats, you name it. So, I think a lot of RU-vidrs like us struggle with it. I think making a video like this can help. Yes, using tags properly and having good metadata is great but if people aren't searching for that content then it doesn't really help. I find for myself that the greatest impact is interaction. This is social media. As a creator I tend to get fixated on making great content but in the end I need to interact on other channels and get involved in building other peoples channels too. Peter McKinnon was smart in how he built his channel. He knew that the primary audience was going to be other RU-vidrs so he built tutorials around helping them. I'm not saying we have to do the same thing since that won't scale. For me I find pounding out text on my keyboard and engaging with other people gets more views, likes, and ultimately subs. I try to spend the same amount of time on other people's channels as my own. If no one comes to see me then I'm going to find them. Then of course there is also other social media, blogs, and websites, etc.

Hi Aaron, Thank you for your comment. Yeah, sometimes it's hard to get views or to increase your views, even though nothing seems to be wrong with the video. I think sometimes it has to do with luck as well if you get views and subs. And you have to find your audience. Plus: there is soooo much content on youtube, it's hard not to drown in it and simply get lost in all the videos that are already there. In the end, everybody has to find his way and his community. The most important thing is to create videos - even if nobody watches them. Sure, in the end you put them on youtube to share them with the world, but first you should enjoy the process of making it and not lose the joy in that.
