I’m editing since i’m sixteen but it never helped me more than when I lost my mum to cancer in 2018. Now, my fan-videos often have a link with grief and loss. I can’t help myself of seeing a lot through this perspective. I already did two videos about the feelings of grief. With this one, I wanted to show how much dreams can be a big part of grief. I remember in early grief when I dreamt of just speaking to my mum. I also had vivid nightmares where she was sick or dying. I was waking up and sometimes, for a second, I felt the relief of thinking “this is just a dream”. Except it wasn’t. It will be three years in May and I can’t even believe that it’s been that long. It feels like she’s still there.
