Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Depending on how much you guys enjoy this style of video, I'd love to spend more time in the server and really get a "foothold," both in readjusting to DayZ gameplay and additionally learning how the survival in STALKERZ in particular goes. Let me know what you like about this video. Too long, too short, too much music, too many cuts, etc. Also I have to thank the random dude who aimed at me, curious of why I was staring at him in-game. When I replied "Oh, I'm just taking a screenshot - you look cool" he did a POSE for the next shot. He is now forever remembered in this heccin sicc thumbnail I made out of him. Cant help but express excitement for what the community achieves with modding. @@unknown20005 I'm gonna be honest, companies do that more often than not. Deep Rock Galactic, Minecraft, Factorio, Terraria, just to name a few. On the other side, companies being assholes to modders is a very rare thing, which only makes these bad companies be avoided like the plague.

Stalker is a game that keeps giving. It's fun, it's interactive and there's so much to do even after completing the storyline. Shooting the army, mercs, zombies, monolith. It's the perfect setup of a game to ready you for any multiplayer game out there

DayZ is a natural place for STALKER to be modded into. It already has the hopelessness built in, just needs the places, monsters, and anomalies. When I played on this server (probably a month ago) I was really impressed with it.

Hours and hours of playing cherry picked for the viewers pleasure. I've got 500 hours in DayZ. I bought it two months ago. I've never even seen another player on official servers but I've been killed hundreds of times already

Just a heads up, this kind of gameplay is quite rare, usually people just shoot you the second they see you even if you announce yourself with hands in the air so don't get discouraged if you get murdered all the time.

That was such a good story video with a typical STALKER twist at the end. The mutants shouldn't take that much damage, may as well be fighting with spud guns and pea shooters. I played many hours of Stalker since it first came out in 2006 and this video had me right back in the zone. I rarely play multiplayer but I know the feeling of immersion when facing uncertain situations (IRL as well as in games) with others; human nature takes over because it feels real and lasting friendships are formed because of these experiences. I have to try this STALKER with a Z.

Stalker company back in 2006-7:- this is good I wonder if we will ever get a multiplayer for this. 15 years later... . Stalkerz Mod community:- say no more. We got tons of mods, Ironman mode, anomaly, complete 2009 stalker, lots more fun.

I played on stalkerz for a little while late last year, it's a great server but one of very few english servers that get highly populated (If not the only english server that gets populated, i never find other english servers that have high or even medium amounts of players) , it's usually really hard to get into the server unless you're willing to pay for whitelisting, depending on the time of the day you're trying to get in. Still one of the funnest dayz servers i've played on. We got to do a raid on the dead city with the majority of the whole server one day, i hit a gravity anomaly in the first push and got sent flying 40ft into the air! I hit the ground and got knocked out, one of the medics rushed over to revive me only for me to walk into another gravity anomaly 10ft away. I died this time, but it was one of the funniest things to ever happen to me in dayz.

RIP "He Seemed Like OperatorDrewski" Joseph 1 and "Nervous Chuckle" Dylan, they shall be forever missed in the Zone. That said, this looks like a lot of fun, but the mobs being such bullet sponges is such a buzzkill. Heard half of it is the hitbox issue that comes with reskinning vanilla mobs, so I hope it can be fixed...and fixed soon.

I've played all the "horror" games. But nothing through the years has given me the SHEAR MOMENTS OF TERROR the way freaking Dayz has....... And it's not even a horror game technically.... Just the vanilla version, walking through the woods, searching the town/cities, not finding anyone for hours, THEN OUT OF THE BLUE..... it's addicting.

7:21 When I played the original STALKER a long time ago, this is the exact spot I got hooked to the game, bandits and loners started shooting at each other and I was stuck in that little booth in the crossfire. It was the most memorable firefight I've ever had, seeing it in DayZ brings back nostalgia.

There are a couple things that seem very off about this game to me, one is the amount of bullets you gotta put into those things, having to put all of your ammo into a random pig when it's already so scarce seems very overkill, it doesn't seem like you are just holding on and making a stand, it seems like an inevitability that you'll eventually run into enough pigs to kill you. The other one is how unnecesarily long all looting animations are, didn't quite see healing animations but looting and cooking seemed again, very overkill, it's like the game is artifiacially trying too hard to be hardcore and forgetting about making survival fun/interesting Personally, I think they could've made the boars do twice as much damage but die in a couple shots, make the animations like 30% faster and keep resources just as scarce This is all opinions off of one run on an edited yt video tho so I might be way off, it's just the vibes I got, game seemed like a chore to play instead of a challenge

It looked like all the stalker creatures were given too much health. The snork at 28:00 took forever to kill, while the DayZ zombies only took a couple shots. Balance that, and the experience would've been better (and the video wouldn't have ended the way it did).

sometimes you can fix inventory glitches by jumping, it's a decently common bug on custom maps. (Probably just counts you as falling so you can't access anything.)

Hey drewski and anyone else playing dayz as long as you know you have the ammo for the gun your using when the mag is in your hand just hold the reload button that you use to reload your weapon and as long as you have bullets it will fill the magazine saves you time searching for your ammo in your inventory

A lovely looking game, my only point of significant contention that Drew hasn’t brought up is that you don’t spawn with basic stalker equipment - I.E a gun, suit and mask. I know it’s the whole Day-Z/Rust ‘spawn naked and work up’ (or without any weapons, anyway) thing, but… it just doesn’t feel right in STALKER. You wouldn’t just walk into the zone with a spear… … and man, is Day-Z just a bit janky. It’s kinda sad, really.
