Trailblaze perserrkerr is so much fun to play and trap those water/fairies . It's better against flygon too and then boosted close combat one shots turtanators
Very nice. I don't have a decent Janmo-o to power up yet, but I've been doing the same thing with Thunder Fang Steelix. Does great againt Azus, and it's a better fast move against fairy compared to Dragon Tail.
Dragons are my absolute favorite and I love when you go triple dragon. My sleeper pick has been Perrserker, the spammy coverage was a lot better than expected
QOTD : Fire Fang MAwile Is One of the Most Dangerous Hidden Gem. It can beat almost everyrhinng , even Boring Azumrail if teammates contributes properly .
It's hard for me to enjoy battling as of late especially in specialty cups. It's so hard to get charge TMs and build new Pokemon that it's exhausting. I prefer to just live vicariously through you and watch all your videos. So, thank you good sir, I salute you 🫡 Lol.
Sleeper pick is definitely shadow registeel (what not because I don’t have a normal regi built…). But in all seriousness shadow registeel is better in many matchups like Azumarill and skarmory, (double check) I think Skarmory can tank a normal registeel zap cannon but can’t tank the shadow, and depending on IVs my shadow registeel after landing a single zap cannon on Azu actually puts it in a lock down farm down range. Azumarill can only flip the matchup by using a shield and running hydro pump. If I shield it’s not flippable. (Against an Ice beam Play rough Azumarill I was able to get switch and both shields.) Registeel is bulkier but Shadow registeel has a lot of good matchups..
QOTD: while not necessarily super spicy, shadow aslash got me +330 from 2710 to over legend in 2 days, super oppressive up energy and if you bait out a counter user or a turtle you can sweep their backline
I've been running energy ball Slurpuff because of all the Azu leads. I was leading Azu myself until I seen how common it was lol. I got sick of seeing them and started running something with a grass move
I’m running it as a lead, with azu swap and shadow mawile closer. Doing wonderfully on my main acc in the 2500s but somehow worse on my alt in the 2100s
Hurricane dragonite was unexpected even someone running kommo-o but for the dragonite do you reccomend steel wing and turtonator could have potential if it had a cheaper move and not nukes.
Dragon breath is preferred for this team specifically as it's there to deal actually dragon type damage with the fast move to destroy Pokémon like shadow Flygon which can otherwise get a ton of energy & run through this team.
Steel Wing lets you get to a charge move a little earlier but you lose out big fast move pressure which is what you really want as a Shadow Dragonite, losing that fast move damage hurts it and its worse if your up against a Dragon as your only source of damage would be charge moves which is not good onto Flygon or mirrors as they will outspeed you and deal more damage. Steel Wing just not recommended for this format/CP sadly really no good play for it. 12:27 This is what DragonBreath does onto a Flygon and if you are not running it, just say it would deal half the damage and on that case you would be trading up to 2 shields in that match which is not a good thing.
RomeyLFC hear was excited when I seen your name and really tried to win cose I knew I'd be in the next video losing 😂😂 gg and im not building a turtonator😅
QOTD: melmetal and altaria They both look kinda bad on paper (the altaria looks really bad on paper in fantasy) but I’ve gone positive (4/1, 5/0, 4/1) with them at ace rank.
Depending on how you are feeling there are 2 ways it can go. You do not get to Close Combat before they make a Drill Run so you can either try to go for a catch onto a Dragonite or overfarm a bit then throw a move after and see if they are willing to commit a shield for a 1-1 trade. Counters will do atleast 5% HP per hit and taking a Drill Run puts you down into farmdown range which is not good so it really comes down to whether you want to try and trade a 1-1 shield then switchout after for some checks or catch a move and make them lose the energy.
QOTD: I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm using astonish mawile to counter shadow metagross for me. I don't know, maybe the meta I'm playing against is just different.
@patricknot-star8400 flygon is an issue for the team, and Azu is tricky, but turtonator can win if it doesnt have hydro pump. Breaking swipe on G weez helps against flygon and obvi sludge for azu. I've gained 200 elo since yesterday with this team.
