No, as she stated they went through security. The capitol building belongs to the people. Simply entering it is not breaking the law. Of course, there is a bit of wiggle to that depending on what side of the political spectrum you fall on. This issue with Israel is one of those weird outliers where there is not a clear distinction about what side they are on politically.

Considering what diplomats of major powers can do, I doubt they can call a full-scale ceasefire. Simply because the world is too wide, Russia really supports a continued war with Hamas (at least conflict in the Arab region) because it detracts NATO funding and attention from their war. Seen as well are those who wish to use the conflict to propel themselves to higher positions, whether they be as small as a band of opportunistic mercenaries or a major empire the line will remain the same. These 2 belligerents, alone will decide and elect into being their true & proper fates, come what may.
