Multiple-choice tests are very efficient, but when test takers make guesses their score will depend partly on their luck. Dr Martin Bush explains how the impact of guesswork can be reduced -- or even eliminated entirely -- by using novel test formats. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
