For sure. I’ve only hunted public land one year and even that was only maybe 8 ish days all together but I never saw a single buck. I’d seen some does and got trail cam pictures of a small buck but that was it. Totally different experience from hunting my private land

You do....anytime hubting with firearms is permitted. So that means if ANY season allows shotgun or rimfire while youre hunting then you have to wear orange. Unless youre hunting dove, duck or turkey. Now in the off chance youre deer hunting while there are no open seasons that allow shotguns or rimfire then by the law you no longer have to wear orange. So it very well could be that is the case in this video. That would depend on the department and the season dates within it. But to that same note, i dont know of any public land that DOESNT require all hunters to wear hunter orange, regardless of the what state law says, while deer hunting.

@@TheElementWild Definitely wasn’t calling y'all liars, I was making a joke. Just stating no hunters orange on public land in Texas was news to me, I hunt public land in east Texas and had no idea that you could do it without that, very good to know.
