I'm glad to help! Part of the reason for this series is to make sure you can compare yours to my originals. And also so you don't miss out on deals thinking they were fakes but actually legit.
Wow very impressive collection, those are amazing! This is a lengthy comment so you know I'm hoping you got them before the price went wayy up, as in like 12+ yrs ago. My first experience with Pokemon that I remember was opening a Game Boy Color Kiwi and Pokemon Crystal boxed pack. Played the sht out of it as a kid. So much so the pins eventually got a little rusty. Years ago I looked up what to do with it. It said you could use a little bit of sandpaper very very gently. I don't know if this is really okay for it, but I did it carefully then and it made the game work again. I also replaced the dead battery, so it saves good now. One time had a boxed Leaf Green, but I sold it years ago. I regret selling it now... It seems to me that they just keep going up (Pokemon Carts Gen 1 - 3). I really don't understand how Pokemon Crystal Boxed is $1000 now. Also was shocked to see a Loose copy of Emerald going for about $300 the other day. Atleast with that one it makes sense cause they produced a much lower amount of them. I'm never selling my original Pokemon crystal copy. Cartridge only, cause box game got thrown out. Have the original manual, its worth $50 now never would have thought that. Also have a french Pokemon Crystal manual, maybe I could sell that. Before the battery died on my original game save file, I wrote down what pokemon I had and their lvls at the time. So I kind of have an idea. I had most rare pokemon on Crystal. All legendaries except for Celebi. Also I didn't have a mewtwo or Mew, but now I know I can just keep trading back from Gen 1 to 2. Also the best way to get Evolve stones. I feel like Pokemon Yellow will go up even more in the future. Anyway thanks for the video, I'll watch your other box vids. Also, Have you considered having one main Pokemon cartridge to hoard the very best Pokemon? Like say 5 Zapdos, 10 Suicunes, etc. Trade a ton of legendarys to one cart should add some value if you think about it. When I played Pokemon Crystal I had 3 level 100's. Suicune, Poliwrath, and Feraligatr.
Hey thanks for making these videos, just wanted to add I bought the no ESRB logo new, and it came with the White E.. I’d guess they are only white since those are earlier revisions of the logo before it changed
i used too have the one with the white e as a kid growing up i heard that was a rare one i got that at my local toys r us lol . i got all my pokemon games at tru from till 3rd games .
@@pokeboy14a no problem! Yes it would be a great add on to your collection. Some people always think they're repo cases as they aren't very informed on the European version. Would be good if you made a video on that one day!
Does the white E box sometimes not have the date printed on the top tab? I found a box that has the white E with everything but the date printed on the top tab, I can't tell if this means its fake or not.
@@pokeboy14a Yeah I see what you mean now, so the box I am looking at is a white E with a Y fold, and has the DMG-APSE USA on the flaps on the top inside, but does not have a date. Of all the things you went over in your video, this is the only thing that is off. What is your opinion on the authenticity of the box?
@@Rhythm_Wizard Hard to tell since i can’t see the box itself. without the date on a Y-fold box, id say it’s probably fake. I just checked my Pokemon yellow Y-fold, 5 of 5 had the dates on the flap.
