It is always a very good idea to read the User Manual. There are international design standards that rollators must conform to and there will be warnings and tips on use included in the User Manual.

I've been told (by a sales person in a Mobility shop) that these are not ideal for those who need to use their walker for support, apparently they tip if you put weight on them because they are just too lightweight. I have Skeletal Deformaties and as result I put more pressure on the left side of my walker. Often when I use my Elite rollator I tip the right Front wheel up.

Yes, I can definitely see how those who need to place more weight on one side over the other would find lightweight rollators a bit unsteady.

This is their Carbon Ultralight

Thank you very much for responding. The ultralight comes in three sizes; compact, regular and wide. Compact has a lower seat and slightly narrower handles than regular. I'm just trying to figure out which size is better for me at 5'2.

Can they tip not that strong
@DoctorGretchenHawley
@DoctorGretchenHawley 9 месяцев назад
Most rollators have the ability to tip from one side to another, especially if one side of the body is stronger than the other & there is a lot of weight being put through the device! It is important to try to only put a small amount of weight through an assistive device.
