In this video I will go over all the different lines I have been testing this season. I will go over the good and the bad tell you what I liked and disliked. I will also show you what I use every day now and will continue to do so.

i second this. ithe husky titanium x is the line I use. I used the echo black diamond and I do like it. also, I keep a big spool of Milwaukee line as a cheap just in case line or if im doing my own yard

Also a Husqvarna Titanium grey line user. If you’ve ever watched Project Farm’s videos, he has a couple testing trimmer line. The Husqvarna Titanium was his top pick for the standard round line. Bought a spool a few years ago when I bought my then new Husqvarna 128LD trimmer. It’s a consumer grade straight shaft trimmer, but I have the edger, pole saw, and mini tiller attachments for it. It has enough power that it runs the attachments just fine. But who couldn’t use a little more power?😂

Surprised that Echoes’ Black Diamond was not in your review. Also in agreement concerning the Echo string. Purchase a reel of it in .095 & it’s the oddest string. It edges well, only on sidewalks, but digs into the grass. Good lookout on the Husqvarna string. Live on a corner, lots of edging.

I see you tryed the oregon line but i dont think thats the gator line i ran the gatorline all last year it has a core and stuff kinda like that husqvarna xtreame line

Looks like this black lonoiz string is only available in the .130 size .they have orange in .095 ?

That is correct it’s color-coded by size so the orange is going to be the .095 but it’s the same line.

I’ve also got some round .130 rotary line that’s red and I have it soaking in a bucket of water and I’m gonna test it out this week.

Great line l agree Husqvarna line is made by Speed France l have Husqvarna battery trimmers now and the xp Husqvarna is the only one you can use because it won't spit out if you use a different brand on the Husqvarna 520 battery

Anyone know or have experience in comparing black diamond .105 to the lonoiz .130? I've been using black diamond 105 the past few years since I got my 3020 but after seeing Russell's vids about the 450 speed feed hacks and he keeps mentioning the lonoiz 130 line in his vids I'm kinda curious now lol

Both of mine are electric, so they both use 0.065" line. Not much selections when it comes to trimmer line for these.

I use echo black diamond 95 in 105 in the grey husqvarna line in i cf3 in Oregon 130 in im going get pirhan line 120

my go to lines are always hussy and the Oregon lines or rounded and steal rounded lines but iv had bad luck with the black Dimond and vortex lines but i love the tringle weed warriors line from Walmart try the Oregon pro round gator line its red but it holds up nice

I can concur with you for the most part, I haven't tried some of the ones you have in your arsenal. You need to try Redmax twisted.

You didn’t say why you didn’t like the Echo Cross-Fire .095. I’d love to know why. The Cross-Fire .130 is what I run in my 3020 and the .095 in my 2620.

Great video and info on trimming line! I’m using the grey husky line it’s the best in my opinion. I also like ugly line and Stihl orange line, I find that orange husky line is brittle.

I’ve tried most of the well known and popular brands. That being said, the grey titanium Husqvarna has worked the best for me. I have it in two sizes. .080 and .095. This stuff spins extremely straight and is very durable. I use the .080 on my trimmer with the edgitPro that is strictly for edging driveways/sidewalks/curbs. The .080 obviously doesn’t hold up as well as the .095, but it gives better/crisper defined edge lines. I use the .095 on my trimmer that I use for general weed and brush cleanup.

Hey Russell I also use the 225 and 2320T I’ve been using Redmax super twist 0.95 it last a long time but it’s very hard to find or I also use echos black diamond .095 and cuts pretty good.

Have you ever tried the Shakespeare Ugly Line in the 3 lb (or is it 5lb) spool found at Lowe's? I really like it on Illinois' Tall Fescue and my yard is extremely thick.

I have a new SRM-410X GRASS TRIMMER/ BRUSHCUTTER and use the BLACK DIAMOND. 095" LINE. I can cut Bamboo Branches easily. I love it and the line.

Great info. Love all your vids. BTW, the Lawn Juggernaut from Oklahoma loves Husqvarna Titanium X Pro line. He never uses blade edgers for edging concrete unless it is extremely overgrown. I can't wait to try it. Using twisted line is too wobbly for edging concrete. Have you ever tried water soaking your line for survival of line?

It's better in your country Sir,. You have a lot of Trimmer line to use, Here in the Philippines we are using the fishing line 2.50 mm or 3.00mm

It was a good review I’ve tried them all and you’re correct also watch Project farm video of trimmer line I tried those and they are just as good if not better than a Husqvarna line I’m not sure LOL that’s how good they are, Project farm has a first year video and a second-year video I think the first year Husqvarna want it the second It did not

You're dead right. Reviews are subjective. I'm just starting out in lawncare and am trying out differnt trimmer lines. One of the best (for me) is a budget trimmer line...Saxon, available from Bunnings (A chain store in here in Australia where I am). I'm using the 3mm in my Honda UMC435 Versatool, and it does everything i ask of it. But for someone else, this might be a rubbish line.
