Man that course was awful. Did any body think about being able to turn when they designed it? I couldn’t even get a clear picture of the layout. It was all over the place lol
So, if you look in the back, where the Mike's Pizza and other trailer were, was where the course was supposed to stretch out to, so, yes, the course basically got cut in half and was super tight. Basically you had the center barrel, and the rest of the barrels were numbered and somewhat a circle around the center barrel. You got a card at the start line that had the 4 numbers of barrels you had to go around. So, you were supposed to run it like (example barrel numbers) 4, center, 6, center, 2, center, 8, center, finish, and each card was a different set of numbers. It was definitely recognized how tight and difficult the course was, hasn't ever been like that before, but really tested the skills of the drivers. AJ Hoover killed it, with something like 42 seconds running the course.
