Conversion to inch-decimals or feet-decimals is necessary before multiplication or division can be started.

Division results in a factor. For example an warehouse measuring 10`- 11 3/16" in height to the underside of a roof truss allows how many pallet loads measuring 2`- 2 1/4" to be stacked vertically? Will 5 fit? Maybe only 4? I need an answer with decimal places, eg 4.92 or 5.15 loads fit. I need to know for sure if we can stack five loads in there vertically.
