@Maxlvledc are you positive that this is an only usa item ? I live in Canada and have looked at other Ozark trail items at walmart and i have carried a Leatherman wave everyday for the last 14 years and it has lost a couple of things at this point 😅😂
Both of those look like great options. Another one, and I think you've covered it since making this video is the work pro multitool from Amazon. Pretty much the same tool set minus the bit driver. It's got 2 dedicated phillips a #1 and #2 that fit inside each other. For me that's preferred as I'm not a huge fan of the bits you can lose. It's around the same price too. Quite possible the same manufacturer makes all these models maybe.
ozark trail and swiss+tech have the same OEM, great star tools that bought SK tools. Ozark trail is sold at wallmart to Americans who have trouble handing over their money directly to the Chinese manufacturer.
The warranty is worthless in my area. I needed a replacement. Called the 800 number on the box. They sent me to my local store. CS said there is no warranty so they processed a no receipt return. YMMV.
@@v10moped actually it's a well made tool and some features are better than Leatherman. I was shocked myself that ozark made a quality product other thither tumblers. I've put it through hell for 30 months or so
You don’t own a Leatherman do you? You get a 25 year or a lifetime warranty with them and you can snap them using the handles as a snipe on the screwdriver and weatherman will replace whatever broke without question.
@@600wheel I own 4 Leatherman. Overpriced, overrated, and over-hyped junk. For the price they're charging the plebeians, they should offer a lifetime warranty. Luckily, this tool has the same price as the shipping to Leatherman has better steel and much better functionally.
@@600wheel well I have leatherman and the quality has gone down so I bought this and it is great! Leatherman will not warranty it if you loose it and can get three or more of these for the price of the wave
@@chriscalderin6677 nothing is warranted if you lose it. And you only ever have to buy one Leatherman so you can buy the first generation Leatherman if you want which is the same quality it always was or you can buy the new ones, you can buy any Leatherman you want you only ever have to buy one in the troop already makes these things look horrible. If you use these tools even twice a week you will be buying three of them a year. Leatherman quality has not gone down that is things that people who do not own a Leatherman say to make themselves feel better about buying cheap tools which in itself doesn’t make any sense
Dont be cheap, people. get a Leatherman. Everything under 75 dollars will rust and or break on you. but if you just like carrying a multi tool around and never actually use it, then by all means, listen to this guy.
