When multiversus first came out Harley Quinn and Steven universe were both my favorite characters they felt really fun to play. I'm glad to hear its coming back!
@@adrielbearden4060not really, the game doesn’t function as it should, some of the worst fighting gameplay seen imo. But if they fixed it sure, might be a good game then innit, they have an amazing roster but man shiii, it was stinky as hell last year
The two things that got me really excited for the game relaunch is Gleamium can now be earned IN GAME which is a huge deal. The netcode looks real smooth as seen on recent gameplay. And the character progression system I really hope they made it less grindy and more fun to grind.
@@Gentleman_ghost13 Yea they stated it on their website. They said “Gleamium can now be earned IN GAME” but the thing they never said how. So I’m guessing it’s in the BP since that’s what everyone wanted it to be. But I also do think u can earn Gleamium from game events and limited game modes. And I agree this game will hit hard since they made this decision. Its a huge decision that will bring many more players hands down
Fr, now we got so many of these that it's baffling how people still call these games "smash clones" I mean, cmon, among the more popular ones there's Rivals of Aether 1 and 2, Nick All Star Brawl 1 and 2, Multiversus, and Fraymakers. From old to new, the genre has been around for a WHILE, and every single one of these games is different in their own way. At this point, limiting them to "smash but with ____" is just stupid
@@Axeecoexactly, my main fighting game was brawlhalla which is the game ive heard most be called a smash clone, even though I've played both and everything about them is different! Different movement tech, fighting tech and general quirks. 2d platformer should be the name
It is clearly the biggest inspiration though from the style of fighting to the nature of an all star roster. It is bizarre that that’s often a given for platform fighters.
I never played it, but my cousin told me about it, and I was gonna get it. I quickly realized it wasn’t available anywhere. I’ve been waiting to play this game!
Yea it was a great game but it did have some big issues just like with all games. The game relaunches May 28th. And it’s free to play so it won’t cost a dime to play
The only thing I can say is I hope they add the Cartoon Network goats in the game they have to! Ed Edd n Eddy, Powerpuff Girls, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Dexter, Johnny Bravo, someone from fosters home for imaginary friends, Samurai Jack, Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Beast boy from teen titans, Number 1 from Code Name KND, Ben 10, Space Ghost, etc just to name a few
I did play multi verses a year ago. It was really good until they just didn’t really add characters. So when I got new games, I just uninstalled it because it was taking up space. I hear that the battle pass that they are releasing only works for players that played in the beta, does that still work if you reinstall the game?
Definitely my favorite free to play game last year. I spent many hours playing this game. So glad it came back today. PSA: for everyone who played the beta last year, if you login today you get Jason for free
I was excited when it first came out I'm not as "excited" as the first time, but I'm really ready to play the game again! Been liking all the content we've been getting
How many platform fighters do we need until people stop calling every platform fighter a smash bros clone? I get that Multiversus and smash have their similarities but the biggest complaint I ever heard about MVS during the beta was that it didn’t feel enough like smash, and I can’t help but feel those complaints come from the constant comparisons
Who is actually so fun but every time I wanted to play after like the last few days everybody was using Finn and Harley. Quinn and I kept on dating trash time. When my man was Batman no matter how many times I dodge they always kept on coming for me.
And also it’s very repetitive cause like 90% of the entire character roster is just DC and Looney Tunes. Hey they’re bringing Joker which is another DC which is disappointing but come on at least add like Ben 10 and I know y’all are already getting on Jason in the other person and two other character
I enjoyed playing it with friends and online. A bit sweating but still rewarding. Multiversus had character and was unique enough. Just need fixing issues and lag
The game was fun, the marketing tho... Battlepass had issues, skin pricing was not great and was based more on nostalgia then on how much work went into it. And near the end the quality of event skins was way down but the difficulty of earning event points got harder...
You see when I got the multiverses beta I didn’t link my PlayStation account with my multiverses account before I bought the game and even when I did I after I got the beta I was stuck in offline mode and even after deleting and redownloading It I still couldn’t play with my buddies, so as long as I can play online I’m happy
I loved it so much and trust me when I took 2 days or something to get iron giant I did take 2 days or something to get iron giant and it was absolutely worth it
No, it really isn't. There are so many extremely famous characters that it's impossible to get them all as soon as the game releases, and even if they did, there would be nothing to look forward to
If i hear a platform fighter get called another super smash bros clone imma go insane, maybe the games started a genre but thats it. All platform fighters arent identical, which is what a clone means💀
So does it actually feel like you’re hitting the other characters yet is my question, cause when I tried it, I’d attack and I could never really tell if I was doing anything. Made it not worth playing for me. Especially after learning you have to unlock characters with special currency earned through playing _or by purchase_ rather than good ol’ unlock conditions.
Multiversus felt WAYYY too floaty and had too many movement options that felt brain dead…it just didn’t feel fun to become good at their movement systems and learn to play neutral. I hope they fix those issues
@@Trailerboys before multiverses it was the best game out and honestly we need multiverse to copy EVERYTHING Fortnite has done so far. They're the perfect game to learn from.
It sucks for me because o genuinely had no major issue with the game but then you just hear everyone saying it’s bad, stop playing and you just can’t figure out why
Desite a lot of bugs and incredibly horrible balance, beta MVS was the best fighter I have played. And one of the best multiplayer games in general. I have decided to lab all the characters I haven't touched so I can experience their beta versions before they get reworked. The game is fun even vs bots.
