For the people still saying they ripped off Smash Bros., it's called a genre, you can't own a genre, it's just like all those FPS games, all of them took from Wolfenstein 3D and Doom. Imagine if id Software patented FPS games after releasing Doom in 1993? We wouldn't have Duke Nukem 3D, GoldenEye, Half-Life, Unreal, Halo, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Bioshock... Imagine if Chuck Berry patented Rock and Roll? We wouldn't have Elvis, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Queen, Deep Purple...
It is highly unlikely that Jason was originally slated to be Johnny Bravo as his ip was literally just pulled from the gutter and having a big name character like Jason would bring lots of traction to the game. His moveset is also way too unique.
Wdym? This game during it's open beta saw it become the most played fighting game ever on PC more than 2 times over, said record it then proceeded to BREAK as well; people are well-aware of the game
During the Open Beta, the game was a big success at launch, with a peak of 150k players, but then it dropped to less than 1k players since they couldn't release updates fast enough and the game was still raw. Now, the game is getting a full release with a second launch, but who knows if it once again be a flash in the pan.
is the thick color outline really necessary? its taking away from the characters design and does the health meter have to be attached to the characters? if so why?
